I think Mariska would make an excellent real life lead SVU Detective in the NYPD. I say this because even though she’s an actress, I think the acting element side of her playing Olivia Benson has very likely given her a certain amount of training that might be similar to real life so then if she did decide to quit acting and go into the police she can use that training she learnt from acting and apply it to real life. 😀👍
Not to mention that she’s an actual r@pe crisis counselor (a fact I learned only recently)

Even though that poor excuse of a man's conviction was over turned, I don't agree with that. His life a s he knows it is done anyway. There can be that justice. Had this happen to some guy on one of our Canadian stations. Don't here from him anymore. His life is over too.
