Great review as always! Also great info about how tent mfr's label tents by size as opposed to reality. Took me 3 purchases before we had a winner when we started section hiking the A.T. with our dogs years ago. Started with a Walmart Jr. Dome tent, upgraded to a Wenzel "2 person" tent, finally landed on a 4 person tent being the best fit for us.
My wife and I use a 3 person backpacking tent because we found we could sleep in the 2p but that quarters were too close for comfort and everyone's packs had to be stored under the vestibules. I always worry about rodents getting to my pack on the middle of the night!!!
Looks pretty good . I canoe and kayak so small and no poles appeals to me , but I would like to know what your favorite spray waterproofing is . Nothing seems to last more than a season and silicon seam sealants tend to peel making it hard to reseal . So I would rather spray seal every season than try to get off the old stuff peeling , so what spray do you like the most ? Almost forgot , you have a blessed one .
