You've become my favorite TH-cam outdoor gear guy. I love the honest, sincere and genuine way you show your set ups. So many on here get lost in promoting gear they know is just garbage but continue just for the money. Keep it safe and fun.

The way he gets out of his car to move the cam for a shot, then drives by, picks up the cam and repeats. Crazy dedication. great video! 50 likes?!!?! HUHHHHH
I never cease to be fascinated by the effort that goes into the video while on the move, in particular the constant moving of the camera, driving or walking past, then getting out of the truck and/or walking back to retrieve the video equipment, then repeating the whole process.
@@richardshansky3040 there are a lot of outdoor people who makes these films, and even under tougher circumstances. Some will scramble up difficult rock faces, set up camera, go back down and film themselves climbing back up, for just a few seconds of video. It’s crazy what some do. Look specifically for hikers or trails and you can easily find them. Not me buddy, too old and no will🇺🇸🤣
Andy, yours is my fav channel, and I haven’t been camping for 3 decades! But each time I see you with camping gear I reexperience all of the scents, the textures, the tastes of camping on an Assateague Island dune in Maryland, USA, ever😅y season of the year, even in the light snow. There were cold showers which the wild island ponies tried to share with me 😁, the sound of the surf all night long (my favorite sound), the comfort of the sand under my sleeping bag and tent, and the morning’s quiet nature sounds along with the warmth of the sun on my skin as I started up the fire for breakfast. I loved those mornings before others arose. The sensations were so perfect, especially the sand in my toes while I made my bacon and eggs. All of those sensations were so vivid that I can easily imagine myself wherever you are in these videos. Thank you for helping them re-emerge for me each night as I watch.
No matter where you camp, you are always respectful. Planes have to go over head, wouldn't be a video without one.. love your adventures. Always trying something new, and making it interesting.

Personally, I don’t care what you do, I enjoy your company. You are personable and real, and that’s becoming a rare thing! Your videos have given me the camping bug, even if it’s just my backyard!! I have a fire pit now, and am working on the tent part- not really sure what I want… this cot tent looks very promising. I like how big it is! Thanks for another great video, Andy.
Your videos got my son my wife and myself through the lock downs here in Ont Canada !! Now we have a Dutch oven we make pizza in and those great Buffalo wings with ribs over coals everytime we camp and my wife loves your fresh homemade bread recipe !! Thanks for all you do Andy
Watching you work out where to locate your camp gives helpful hints for success with that process. Maybe not so much with the cot tent, but you got it done! Enjoyable. Thanks.
Hi Andy, your channel is not a joke! I enjoy your adventures, the variety of tents you tried, camp locations and even to the delicious meals you make! Thank you for the lovely and creative content you make 💕
Thank you again, Andy for the peace and enjoyment you bring! Love this channel! You do you and we all get to enjoy, no matter where you pitch a tent. Love your cooking and it is always inspiring. Cheers mate!
I don't tend to leave comments on TH-cam but I will for this. I found your channel when my life was sort of not going the way I wanted it to. I watched a lot of bushcraft videos at the time and then started binge-watching yours. Then I got my ex to watch it and I even got my children to sit through a couple of them. I can't say all of them were of interest to me, there were some I skipped, but I am checking new ones each time, because your content is something different. You're honest, you're not trying to push a sale, you connect with the audience. There is a lot of calm and balance in your videos and you don't edit out every slip up and every mistake. With all honesty, your channel is the only one I actually consistently watch each week. We are all different and your videos might not resonate with some, but please pay them no mind. If someone goes out of their way to criticise someone else, they usually have nothing to offer themselves. So carry on, Andy. You've not come this far to let some saddos bring you down!
Don’t let one person being negative get to you!!!! You’re always gonna get sad people making horrible comments when you’re doing well unfortunately. If you’re having fun making the content then we all have fun watching it. Thanks
I like your doing different types of camping, even that rooftop camp looked fun. Seeing a wide variety of equipment, from dirt cheap to fairly pricey, is really good. You show what works and what doesn't. Great fun to watch! 😎👍
Ignore the jealous haters, And! I watch your videos for the food and cooking alone! Don’t ever change your format, and love it when you mix things up. The rooftop camp was a stroke of bloody genius. Top lad!
I wouldn’t call that comment ‘hate’ that word has been weaponised lately and not helpful, expressing your opinion calling that video a joke is perfectly without malicious intentions lighten up for god sake!
Some people explore all the new things the world has to offer....others go to Benidorm, eat egg & chips and drink John Smith's for a week every year for 50 years on the trot in the same hotel (or tent!). Never stop exploring new things.
I enjoy not only the variety of places you camp at, but also the various tents and shelters you use. Your channel is not a joke; it’s interesting and entertaining.
I would much rather watch you doing something that you enjoy doing, than doing what the algorithm rewards but is obviously something you’re not enjoying. Your enthusiasm is infectious, keep it up!
As lots of other people said, your channel is not a joke! I grew up in rural Vermont and used to go camping all the time with my dad. But now I live in New Jersey just outside Philadelphia, so I don't really get to connect to nature much anymore. This channel brings back such wonderful memories of my childhood in the woodlands and has really reignited my interest in camping. And I love it when you try all these unique different things, like camping on a city rooftop or in the back of a van. It's really interesting! On a side note, you should try to do some beach camping before summer's over! Waking up to that salty sea air is so refreshing, plus you could try out different types of beach-specific camping gear!
I don't mind if Andy switch things up a bit. Nothing is wrong with trying new stuff. I like seeing a change every now and then. Keep up the good work Andy. Don't listen to the negative. 😎👍💯
The internet emboldens faceless idiots. Please ignore them and don’t let them get to you. You channel is lovely the way it is and really comforts me at the end of a tiring day.
I loved the city camp video. There are millions of people with no access to the wilds. It is good to see that there are places that they can go. Keep up the good work, Andy!😊
I think it's awesome that you change your locations each time and try something different, we have all seen the firewood chopping which i also love but you dont want to be overly repetitive, there is always someone that will moan, but you know you have a very steadfast fan base. love the tent, i have a little cheap one myself but that one is really top notch. thanks Andy 😃⛺
Definitely a peacock! My father once ran into the woods thinking he heard a woman calling “heeelp,”…He was ready to confront her assailant on a rescue. Then, a very startled pea fowl met my even more startled dad and they both stared at each other. We didn’t make fun of him about it because he was ready to do battle to save a stranger. But…….it was comical.
I’ve been watching your videos for at least the last year or two and I’ve enjoyed all your videos. In fact, the previous one with you camping out in the city on a rooftop was awesome! I love your wholesome, down to earth content. You are a guy who enjoys the smaller things of camping, you enjoy your beer, good food and quality time outdoors. Keep up the great content! Don’t let the haters get you down, you are doing great!
We enjoy watching your videos. Love the estates you get to camp at. Being here in the US, New Mexico, we love seeing the different topography. We always get a kick out of your choice of meals. I can't get over how people just have to hate. They must be the most unhappiest people. You keep doing you Andy. Take care. 😊
Definitely not a joke. The variety of ideas that you have for camp outs is what makes your channel so unique. Don't change anything ( keep mixing things up, it's so entertaining).
I have to say.. I enjoyed the roof top camping ! When I was a young girl, my sisters and I use to sleep out in the back yard. A great memory your camping on the roof reminded me of.. Thank you! And Happy Camping!! 👍🏼💖😊
Honestly I feel like it's the variety of things that I see on this channel that help to make camping feel more accessible to me. I've never been camping before and didn't grow up around anyone who went camping, so I really didn't know much about it that wasn't absolutely obvious before the algorithm recommended me this channel. Between this channel and the review channel, it's given me a great idea of the kind of gear we'll want to start with. Now we have plans to rent a bell tent on the campground when we travel to the renaissance festival in a few months and I'm actually feeling pretty confident that we'll have the right gear to have a good time. I know what we'll be doing isn't "camping" by the standards of the purists, but we'll have much more fun than if we had a hotel. So yeah, this channel is definitely not a joke.
I actually liked the skyscraper video amongst quite a few other "usual" ones, as youtubers we always try to please everyone, we cant, we still try though. Great video Kent 👍
I like this cot and tent setup. I am glad you keep the content fresh. I am glad you keep your experiences real. It is not easy to plan, prep, film, edit, and produce your own content. I appreciate what you do. Thanks Andy
It's your channel, Andy! I enjoy the content no matter what it is you've chosen to do. Now, I don't think I'd ever do a roof top camp but I thoroughly enjoyed watching your adventure. You make it worthwhile and it is appreciated!
I love your channel. I like the idea of camping but not the heat and bugs. I get my camping fix watching you enjoy the outdoors. I also love the dishes you cook, they look so delicious.
Watching this while having to have a week off work after passing out only 10 minutes after getting there Now I’ve got a cold so resting up You post whatever you want on your channel, your fans will still watch it. Ignore the haters
I enjoy watching your adventures & the different tents & equipment. Makes me want to go camping again. My husband & I used to camp in New Mexico when we lived there then came home to Arkansas where we continued to camp. It was so comforting & no two places were the same. Even though it would only be for two nights, it just took the weeks’ stress & bs away. The foods that you prepare look soooo tasty. The chicken with flat bread in this video, I have got to make it. I love chicken any way you fix (except livers, yuk) I look forward to more places you take us to. Thank you for taking us along.
You kept saying, "This goes like this I'm guessing." and I was here like, "Why are you guessing, you have instructions!" 🤣 In regards to any negative people, I really don't know why people feel like they need to say stuff like that. Constructive criticism doesn't exist anymore, just people trying to drag others down for zero reason. I love your channel, I find it really relaxing to watch you camp, especially knowing I have no desire to do it myself but the scenery, weather and food are all interesting. Thanks for always making such nice videos.
Hey Andy, Once again I enjoy/love your channel. You don't get excited about unexpected bad weather, or if something overcooks, or if meat is still frozen when you are preparing a meal, or if your portable air pump dies, etc. You roll with the punches. I have thoroughly enjoyed your cooking, which brings up a new point. Have you thought about coming up with a cookbook for camping and selling it? Maybe title it 'Basic Elegance of Bushcraft Cooking', or something down those lines? I think it would sell like hotcakes, don't mind the pun. I think you would enjoy creating it. I know you are doing a thousand other things, but if one of your other projects fades away, this might be something that can be fulfilling. I think you are a natural cook/chef and a great teacher. Thanks, buddy for taking us with you on your bushcraft journeys.

Never mind about the person who said your videos are a joke. I watched you all winter and you inspired me to start tent camping at 60 yrs old. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I especially like watching you cook on the fire and the roof tent. Keep them coming!
Andy your channel is a rare source of peace and comfort, thank you.
You seriously help me to relax and sleep. I have really bad anxiety, depression, OCD, etc and your videos are the only things that help me to settle and sleep. Thank you.
I love the variety of different areas, tents, food, sights and guests.
I am obsessed with your videos! Because of you I’ve gotten into solo camping as a 54 year old woman in Canada! I haven’t been in the bush camping since a little girl with my parents. You are awesome Andy! ❤
I love when you do different things, like the hotel camp. Don't get discouraged by some negative people. This new spot looks nice. The cot tent looks so big & comfortable. Love it. Did you get a new table? It looks bigger for some reason. You keep doing you Andy. That's why most of us watch you. Because we love who you are. So keep up the good, fun stuff!
Is it just me or, does anyone else watch their favorite videos over and over . I think I have watched this video 5-6 times lol
Your content is always great. No matter where you are or what you do. Inventive, creative, definitely not repetitive. Thanks, Andy
Actually really enjoyed the London video. Completely left of field. Whilst I live vicariously through you when you do camp outdoors, I keep watching because you're literally the chillest dude ever and you do an incredible job of showcasing gear. Thanks man, please don't listen to the negative comments. I'll watch whatever you put out.
Well, I’m a 50 year old woman who has never camped in my life…….and never will, I like my comfort! But I love your channel & really look forward to your videos- planning a fire night over the winter & your tips on cooking over a fire will enable me to give my guests a fabulous time. I’ve wanted to do it for years but didn’t know how to make cooking on the fire work. Take no notice of negative comments- they’re just pathetic little weasels trying to control you & confine you to their narrow views on what your channel should be about. Nobody cares what they think.
Try it you mite like it camping out can be comfortable too 👍👍
You have to give it a go Mrs, I'm 58 . Lived in Canada for the past 22 years & , was camping, fishing & hunting at every opportunity I got. Had my best buddy Toni ( 🐕 ) , with me always. As my Back up against Blk Bears, cougars, wolf's and Coyotes. I miss him so much 😢, as I had to move back to England. To take care of my aging parents.
@@andykjohnsonjohnson7622 alas, impossible unless they can figure out how to get modern plumbing in a tent! That’s my only big objection- I’d love the solitude & no need to worry about the wildlife around here- it’s the humans you have to worry about!
@@8pool449me too!
We love the way you are always doing something differently, be it camping, cooking, bushcraft or whatever! You show how many different ways there are to camp and its always great viewing.
Thank you Andy for all your efforts...they are always appreciated!😊🌈😁
In regards to someone calling your channel a joke , if people are into camping and interested in different setups and how they work etc then your channel is really good for variety and showing different products and the different qualities etc
That’s why I found him
There aint much landmass in uk to camp in. Shit laws and all you know..
He is making ads about stuff no one really needs
You've become my favorite TH-cam outdoor gear guy. I love the honest, sincere and genuine way you show your set ups. So many on here get lost in promoting gear they know is just garbage but continue just for the money. Keep it safe and fun.
Yes, last week's video was unique. . .rooftop camping. Thank you for today's, as well. Always good to see you, Andy.
Fun to see some different stuff.
I love the different places you go, the people you hang with (like Simon), the gear you share, the way you meet new challenges (like rowing a canoe), your sweet and kind manners, the UK woodlands, your rig, your cooking, your love of beer and ketchup and your sense of humor is delightful. Not one thing should you change. You are in my top 5 and I am always eager to watch your new videos. You bring the fun! Keep it up Andy, everyone else can change the channel. We love you!
I enjoyed last week's camp. Lol haters are everywhere. Don't listen to them. The charm of the channel is your enjoyment of the activities.
When my kids were little and it was too cold to trek far, we'd set up a tent inside or the backyard. It's all about having a good time camping, wherever it may be. Period. I totally love watching you and so do countless others ❤ Cheers from the US, Michigan.
Andy, you can do no wrong in our eyes! Just spending time with you is very soothing.
I very much enjoyed last weeks episode. Watching from alabama, and I love being able to explore England , and other places vicariously through Andy
None of your uploads have ever been a joke. You have always taken care to put out quality videos. But you know that. That’s why your subscriber numbers are huge. Love you man, from Washington state, USA.
Love you from New Mexico, USA.
Love you from Nova Scotia Canada ❤️
Love you from Malaysia 😊😊
Also WA State….hello
Greetings from Sentinel Island
❤ We love you, brother. Alabama and America are with you, and we were built with this kind of pioneer attitude. You're awesome, my friend. Never change.
We ❤ the London camp just shows how you can go to different locations and still enjoy wherever you are. Keep doing what you enjoy 😊
My wife wanted me to tell you that you are an awesome gentleman for handling harsh comments. Keep up the good work oh and that you were a great example for people to emulate.
It's Wednesday another interesting video from Andy absolutely enjoy watching, cheers for a great video
The way he gets out of his car to move the cam for a shot, then drives by, picks up the cam and repeats. Crazy dedication. great video!
50 likes?!!?! HUHHHHH
Yep. Leaves the camera behind, walks on, goes back uphill and down to retrieve it. Lots of work. 🥵🇺🇸
@@AnthropoidOne yeah. He deserves 1 mil asap. Hes a legend.
I never cease to be fascinated by the effort that goes into the video while on the move, in particular the constant moving of the camera, driving or walking past, then getting out of the truck and/or walking back to retrieve the video equipment, then repeating the whole process.
You want more likes? I’ll give you another one
I don't even notice planes flying over! I'm completely
wrapped up in the video.
I feel like Andy's my brother showing me what he's been up to.... Andy is easy just like being with family
Now our camping trips are so much better after all the tips and tricks we learned from watching your videos and most of all your cooking buddy !!!
I liked the London camp and I love this new spot. Beautiful
City roof top vid was a NEAT experiment. Interesting to see but yeah. Always fun to see what you do!
I enjoyed that one too!!!
I just brought a tent and am off camping this weekend because of your videos !
Don’t let one person being negative get to you!!!! You’re always gonna get sad people making horrible comments when you’re doing well unfortunately. If you’re having fun making the content then we all have fun watching it. Thanks
Been watching you for a couple of years now, your one of my portals to the NORMAL world. Don't change your formula, take care out there
Definitely not a joke . I love watching all your adventures . It doesn't matter where you set up shop it's brilliant.
Top lad!
❤
Here here! Well put. 🍻
I don't care where you camp....I will watch and enjoy!!!! Brilliant!
Andy, another nice, relaxed camp! Thanks for taking us along! ❤
I enjoyed last week’s video. Totally different and something I would have never thought of!
Eggy bread is a British staple. Adding a burger in the middle is spot on!
That bed cot was HUGE, and I'm sure a welcome relief to you! It will give you even more comfort with your sleeping bag, and blankets.
Don’t listen to those people we love all the different camping things that you try. Keep going we will keep watching.
What a pleasure it is to share a virtual camp with you. And what a pleasure to enjoy the company of a good guy.
I cannot comprehend why anyone has an issue with yourself or your content, you are the kindest soul and I love watching your videos !
Can’t believe people whinge about you doing something different. Keep it up mate. Great channel
I'm so glad you're trying camping! To me, there's nothing more fun. I hope your renaissance festival camping trip is excellent!
Any camping is camping in my eyes!
I loved last week’s video. It was so fun being on a quiet, secluded rooftop above a busy city. Delightful variety!
I actually liked the skyscraper video amongst quite a few other "usual" ones, as youtubers we always try to please everyone, we cant, we still try though. Great video Kent 👍
I love all your different camping videos and testing new or wacky gear. Thanks for all you do!
Please take no notice off negative comments, we love all the different types off videos you do for us, keep it up as you are fun too watch x
I'm here for all the different tents and camps and weird and wonderful kit and locations, I love the variety and the kooky ones are my favourites!
Perfect timing as I struggle for my life on this toilet
To much hot sauce...again?😂
😂😂😂
Me too! Colitis boooo
🤣🤣🤣 literally doing the same
Good luck me too
You’re a joy to watch Andy. Thank you.
Cool looking tent that appears to be comfortable and would be perfect if it's waterproof to use it during the rainy season
I like this cot and tent setup. I am glad you keep the content fresh. I am glad you keep your experiences real. It is not easy to plan, prep, film, edit, and produce your own content. I appreciate what you do. Thanks Andy
You can’t make everyone happy. I love that you try to provide variety.
It's your channel, Andy! I enjoy the content no matter what it is you've chosen to do. Now, I don't think I'd ever do a roof top camp but I thoroughly enjoyed watching your adventure. You make it worthwhile and it is appreciated!
Your Roof Camp on that building was great, like you said, it was a little different. I wish I would've said something earlier. Keep 'em coming!
I love your channel. I like the idea of camping but not the heat and bugs. I get my camping fix watching you enjoy the outdoors. I also love the dishes you cook, they look so delicious.
Watching this while having to have a week off work after passing out only 10 minutes after getting there
Now I’ve got a cold so resting up
You post whatever you want on your channel, your fans will still watch it. Ignore the haters
We enjoyed seeing you somewhere different and trying something new Andy! Keep up the good work, we always look forward to your uploads 😊
Your channel is far from a joke. Great content and great host. I'd imagine most of us couldn't care less where you camp as long as you take us along.
I love chicken any way you fix (except livers, yuk)
I look forward to more places you take us to.
Love your little chuckles, happy man. Happy camping mate. ❤
I loved the rooftop camping. Something I never thought of. They say a change is as good as a rest and I think camping on a rooftop accomplished both
Can't wait, as per usual! Always love the videos, Andy! Thanks for some of the best content on the Tube!
Cheers from the Prairies of Canada!
Hey Andy,
Once again I enjoy/love your channel.
One of the best channels regarding camping and outdoor equipment. No BS or weird stuff, just down to earth and honest reviews. Keep up the great work and F those haters!
