Would've been interesting if Marvel did a Spider-Man '02 written by Sam Raimi. But I don't trust Marvel in the slightest.

    Instant like for this video.
Been hesitant to get Batman'89, which I've also been curious about. Glad I didn't.

I don’t blame you, yeah it sucked. You probably wont like Batman 89 echoes either, which is a sequel to this one. I just read the first two issues of echoes, and my god it is boring so far. Its probably going to be just as bad if not worse than the first comic series!

Sam Hamm even had the nerve to correct a fan when the fan put out a sarcastic tweet about the comic. The fan said "Wow, a Batman 89 comic. A continuation of the burton movies from the late 80s/90s. Gee I hope nothing modern & 2010s happens" and he clipped a bunch of woke sjw moments in it. Sam Hamm saw it and replied "Deeply sympathize with your 'modern & 2010s' remark. Imagine if in the early 90s, you had been told that 3 decades after (he proceeds to list a bunch of stuff that has no relevance to the issue) nothing much has changed"
The absolute nerve of these people. They do not deserve one ounce of respect. And I'm a Sam Hamm guy too! I love "Blind Justice" and what he did with Batman 89.
I realize that if you want to work, you have to stay in a continuing state of perpetual oppression where you need to share "the message" all the time to stay on hollywood's radar. It's like a mass psychosis.

I’m starting to really like Robert Venditti. So far I’ve liked everything he’s written. I would have to look for that Superman book.

I’m so thankful for my library because any book that I want but don’t want to support DC or Marvel I can just special order it through them and not only am I saving money but a decent amount of the times they were already going to have that book anyway

Everytime someone says something about the turning back time, I answer that Superman didn't do that: he traveled back in time.

With Superman 78 with more those two being alive, I’m okay with it as I feel like we live in a time where fans mistakenly think every hero must be defined by tragedy. Superman isn’t defined by tragedy, as he’s defined by a wholesome upbringing.
Tho with making a new Superman film, instead of taking inspiration from All-Star Superman, I’d take inspiration from this story. If I were making a Superman movie, I’d start out with brainiac as the villain, and brainiac being how Superman finds out that he’s alien. And when he captures Superman and puts him in the bottled city of kandor instead of those two being there you could introduce Kara and krypto. And it can be a cute thing in how Kara would used to babysit kal, but now hes all grown up, so pretty wholesome. And when transported out of there it’s found that it has enough power to transport two people, and Kara’s parents want the best for her, and so they get transported out although krypto jumps in at the last minute and so that’s how you bring Kara and krypto in one swoop.

I haven't heard of either of them. But since Superman 78 is my favorite film of all time I guess I'll have to check it out. Although I'm surprised that they didn't pick Gary Frank as the artist given how on the spot he draws Chris Reeve as Superman. Pity about Batman 89. Looked it up on google and I'm not terribly impressed with the artwork either Especially Bruce Wayne's extended forehead. Weird. BUt I'll check out the Superman one, thanks!

Well you might be even more disappointed to know that Superman '78, and Batman '89, both take place in the same universe. Designation Earth-789.

You've inspired me to read me the Star Wars EU, watch He-Man, and RE-watch the Christopher Reeve Superman (which I have seen, it's just been a long time), as well as the animated Wonder Woman flick (the one you said was way better than the live action one with Gal Gadot)

Am I the only one who wants Marvel to make a Spider-Man ‘77 comic?

    • @SpideyRules-pq6be

Would be cool if they pulished that and a Spider-Man '78 manga at around the same time just like the American and Japanese tv shows aired at around the same time.

@@trhansen3244 it only lasted 2 seasons. It wasn’t as comic-accurate as many would have liked. There was no Uncle Ben, Peter Parker was aged up, and none of Spider-Man’s rogues gallery was present. There were only three supporting characters from the comic who were present: Robbie Robertson (only in the pilot), Aunt May (only in 2 episodes), and J Jonah Jameson, who was in every episode, but was portrayed as liking Spider-Man. It could have been more comic-accurate, but I thought it was pretty good, although the Electric Company version may be superior.
