I’m so happy you’re getting the opportunity to travel solo! Travelling solo was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. I went backpacking after a break up in college for what I had planned was two months, and seven years later I am living in England married to a man I met in Prague. Solo travel makes you grow, challenge yourself, and learn more about who you truly are through the moments of being alone. I am so happy for you, and I can’t wait to keep supporting your travel vlogs. So so much love for you, embrace the chaos and live to the fullest.
So glad that you enjoyed Southern Maine. I moved back to Maine a few years ago after living in San Diego for a decade while I served in the Navy. Winters are tough but Maine is always home. ❤️

I started following you after I saw your divorce video. To be honest, I'm not really sure why, as we don't have much in common. I've never been married and I'm an atheist who enjoys drinking on the weekends (lol) but I just really love your content. I find it very comforting and I admire your vulnerability and strength during a difficult time. I also really appreciate that while you can tell Christianity is a very important part of your life, it never feels like something you're pushing or forcing on your viewers. That's such a great idea of collecting art pieces wherever you go! We have a few different collections from our travels. Me and my mum collect postcards, and frame them as mini art pieces. Not just the stereotypical postcard, but unique ones made by local artists.
Usually I would say - when visiting someplace, try a church there. But - land sake! Michel totally found a new way to worship, and I love that!!!

Maine is a place I'd love to go someday. I'm from the midwest, and its incredible how different the United States can be from state to state.
Definitely pick up artwork from everywhere you travel for a gallery wall! This is something that I do, and now my house has these beautiful works of art with happy memories attached! It’s so worth the money!

Looks like Nubble Point Lighthouse in York, Maine. I camped there often. In your heart, you are a New Englander.
Kennebunkport is my home town. Glad you enjoyed your time here. If you’d looked to the ocean while at Portland Head you would have seen another lighthouse. Across the bridge, in South Portland you could have visited Bug Lighthouse and Springpoint Lighthouse. A little further to Cape Elizabeth and you would have made it to Two Lights state park, which has two more lighthouses. Next trip. 😊
You are so wise beyond your years. I know I have said that before, but going out on your own at such a young age, and having the confidence you do, I am so proud of you!!!

As a native of Boston/New England, it's always fun to see someone's first visit there. Watch them learn to pronounce things...and just get a feel for the place. Kudos to you that you did this trip. From your other vlogs...I see lots of changes since, and mostly good. Love that! Feel free to come back to New England soon....you didn't even come close to all the cool stuff to do. New Hampshire and Vermont....Connecticut and Rhode Island, and all the cool places in Massachusetts. Oh yeah, this Native from New England? Been in Texas most of the past 25+ years...but it's always good to go home, and watch others visit there too!

Oh Michel, loved both these travel vlogs. Now desperately wanting that delicious looking lobster roll and clam chowder. My first solo trip was to Ireland. Absolutely loved every moment of it. Mainly did B&B too. Great way to find a, interesting local things and hikes to see and experience. Enjoy your vlogs always but excited to see more travel. You are more than capable!

When everyone that i know is looking to book holidays to sunny beaches, i do google searches about secret little towns and differents spots that nobody knows of. And when i get there i get excited about every house, fence, tree, street, rock, shop, anything! Everything impresses me. I'm so glad that you are like that, really, i felt real joy because it was like i discovered everything that you discovered.
I really love your travel vlog. It’s especially fun to see New England through your eyes. I think that I tend to take a lot of things for granted because it’s something I see and/or experience all of the time. Except for the ocean -I never, ever take the ocean for granted. I’m always awed and I could sit there forever and watch the waves.
