Honestly I can see that somebody made this cool music, and they WANTED it in a game
I love how this game feels like it was some kinda-generic military mech game, and then someone went "what if the main character was a bee, though?"
Its kind of that, this game was made by Argonaut, the same developers behind X(GameBoy) and Starglider, the last one is a lot like this game, but Starwars instead of bee

little did skurry know, they were describing what the pantheon of hollownest is to many average level players, where it takes many, many tries and is extremely difficult to complete compared to the entire rest of the game

Thank you for uploading this it was my first game ever played on a n64 back in kindergarten and it really brings me back
the problem of several n64 and ps1 games are the controls. if you can figure them out you can enjoy the games.
To be more precise, the controls are built on the idea that you will only use the n64 gamepad, which makes it messy if you emulator port and try to play it keyboard-only. Had a similar issue with Conker's Bad Fur Day, where you can't simulate a spinning joystick to clear the final boss. In this case, you're always aiming from a horizontal lock instead of 3D free navigation like aviation simulation titles, so you need a stick to be slightly pointed to get around more naturally.
That said, I don't think Skurry would enjoy this one even with control issues fixed, because this is from an era of games that expects you to figure things out on your own and fast, which...did not happen here.
Man this is nostalgic. I remember discovering & playing BB for the first time as a kid in the 90's. Didn't get very far xD.
if you replace Buck with Fuck some of the dialogue is pretty funny

I played this game a lot as a kid, and we didnt have a save cartridge, so we had to beat the whole game with no saves. And im surprised no one in chat told him that the flower nectar heals him XD
