Completely slept on channel, every time I come back here the sub and view counts are an absolute crime with the quality of the content. Thanks so much for all you do man, we're all loving this.
@@osukarui Sweet, I play a ton as well, it's such a speedrunner sport honestly lol. Self improvement, technique and community all playing a big role. Very similar to speedrunning in a way
Buck Bumble was such a fun journey to help optimize 🥰 I am always so captivated by the detail you manage to get for these history videos. Keep up the amazing work and Thanks for including me in all the fun! 🥳
Every video you've put out has been more technically impressive then the last. the IRL backdrops was a great touch. You really gotta love how "Playing a game Badly" (ie: bonking into walls at a weird angle) is such a valid way to find skips and tricks. Excited for the Turrok one because i remember lolaway playing that a lot
Overlaying the maps of the levels and other charts on real world video and locations is amazing. It's so unique and clever and yet I don't think I've ever seen it before. Your production quality is excellent!
Your channel is the definition of "if you build it, they will come." You have a knack for quality and a unique style in a space that is often too derivative. Serious kudos.
I watch every speed run story youtuber, and I mean every. You may be the best of them all, I'm not kidding. Work of art here once again. Really hope you blow up. Unfortunately it may take more popular games for that to happen but I hope not.
Great vid. Your editing style is so cool and I love how you illustrated the routes with the map exports. Buck Bumble has a special place in my heart and I loved learning about you and your buddies pushing the limits of the game. I hope you cover A Bug's Life sometime. It's a really cool run. I used to be buddies with the WR holder back in 2013 and that dude was an absolute freak at the game back then lol. Would love to see how the game has progressed since then.
A Bug's Life *almost* got picked for the 1st Holiday Special event instead of Buck Bumble. Came up just a few points short in the vote. In hindsight, it's a shame it didn't get picked because the game didn't have nearly as many players back then as it does now, especially the N64 version.
This is a great little channel, I'm super glad I found it. Great videos man, thanks for making them Edit: and I can't imagine how long it takes to draw paths on the maps like that, they're super helpful especially if you're not familiar with the game
I always drop whatever I'm doing when one of your videos pop up. The visual presentation are always absolutely stellar and makes everything so much more easier to follow
This video is a blast to the past for me; getting to relive the highs of watching this run flourish into the wonderful glitchy mess it is! Amazing video Osukarui!
Already one of my favourite gaming related TH-camrs (let alone speed-run related) - Keep going bro, your videos are masterpieces and your following can only go in one direction.
21:30 "You should listen to the BB theme" Oh, don't worry, one of my friends has known about and rocked to it for years now (since at least 2015 or so). I'm not the biggest fan, myself, but I know how it sounds.
Obscure N64 games and speedruns are two major interests of mine so I was excited to see this in my recommendations. Might have to start running myself. Good work!
I really like the real world background footage but it looks so jittery in the corners. It may be an artifact of the graphics but I felt the need to mention it. Overall a fantastic video and I like to see you getting into more techniques with editing
Not sure how obscure superman 64 and die katana are. They are kind of 2 of the most infamous games of the time period. That being said it would be awesome to see you run die katana that game is bound to have a bunch of speed tech
Can you also include TAS runs so we can see the theoretical limit. I don't really care about times/records and am far more interested in the techniques, routes, and most of all glitches.
This is the most impressive channel I can remember I'm ages. I'm constantly blown away. And seeing that flag made me love it even more ✊ From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free 🇵🇸
Are you an editor in your free time? Because I honestly look forward to the way you edit these videos the most when I watch your videos. You have a very unique style I’ve never seen before that is constantly evolving, and it honestly looks like you put more effort into these videos than most 1 million subscriber channels do. Keep up the amazing work! It will be noticed someday.

Excellent video, as always.
Seeing these little nods made me tear up. From the River, to the Sea.

Just came to comment about this, it's amazing seeing the solidarity even from creators whose content is wholly unrelated

Homophobic terrorist!
Omg the cinematography with the bumble maps in irl space is incredible
*marks a straight line from start to end of the level*
"Now here's a route with some chest hair"
I haven't clicked on a video this fast in years.
Agreed. Saw this and turned it on right away!!
So that means that.... Right about now is time to rock with the biggity buck bumble?
dude this was one of the only n64 games I ever rented twice from blockbuster and seeing it broken wide open has been a really fun watch.
12:00 What psychopath recommended speedrunning Superman 64? They are evil
Completely slept on channel, every time I come back here the sub and view counts are an absolute crime with the quality of the content.
Thanks so much for all you do man, we're all loving this.
Great video again Osu. Could watch you talk about these obscure games for hours. Also 24:45 nice disc golf basket. Do you play? 👀
I have advanced in the video 💀. Nice putt
@@ThaRixer thanks! And yes I play a lot. That take with the putt took 48 attempts though 😅
I had a feeling you might be following this channel 😂 thanks for your contributions to speedrunning content as well, amigo

Amazing video as always! Seeing the speedrun community to come together to break this obscure game was quite an experience.
cool to see how far it came since i ran it, good job to everyone involved!
The theme song is a certified jam
I am so excited for this video you have no idea! INCREDIBLY underrated work, keep it up man 😎
I wonder how I knew I'd find you here 🤔🙃
Awesome video, did an amazing job visualising everything. Glad Buck's getting the love he deserves ^^
When are you coming back to claim the title? It would be a great part of the history.
Amazing editing. It's such a nice feeling because I just watched the Starshot video and right afterwards this video was released!
Overlaying the maps of the levels and other charts on real world video and locations is amazing. It's so unique and clever and yet I don't think I've ever seen it before. Your production quality is excellent!
Yeah but it is also distracting.

I am exited to see what you do with the other games you’re knowledgeable on.
thanks to youtube for recommending this brilliant production. you got yourself a new fan! btw: from the sea to the river, forever!

I always love checking out your new videos and learning about games that I don't know much about.
great work as always! hearing these speed running stories is always a treat
This is the 48 minute video about a niche speedrun that I've always needed.
The production value on your videos is ELITE
MIRACLE TIER EDITING
amazing documentation, and mind blowing editing, super well done bruv
I love how your channel is basically "Games I remember seeing in Nintendo Power, but never played."
Brilliant video, the maps on the grass is such a nice touch! Grats on another great video.
Fun game with the best soundtrack of videogame history. Title music is a legendary banger
I love the maps being in real spaces, really cool idea. Good video!
Yeessss I've been waiting for this video for so long. Gonna be awesome last video of the night
Man I loved this game. Never expected to see a speedrun video for it!
Always happy to see a new video from you!
So glad to hear about this game. I only ever knew it from its catchy theme music.

Dang the WRs just wouldn’t let you finish the video hahaha great job again dude keep it up!❤
Bro I’m so stoked you dropped another video
High quality content for such a small channel. Instant subscribe. Hope you blow up man.

What a good friggen video. Keep up the good work dude!
Osukarui back with another banger!
If you wanna be the best bee, you need to slam into a lot of walls. I am still impressed at your production values.
The AR is incredible in this video, I love it
25:03 did you hand animate the bird shadow while it overlapped the 3d model? love that little touch.
Yes, glad you noticed. The sun also goes behind a cloud in that same shot so I had to tweak the shadows for that as well.
Nice doc! Added to the speedrun mega playlist.
that's some pretty amazing AR work. out of curiosity what software do you use to extract the map assets from the game into (i assume) blender or C4D?
Thanks! There is a link to a video in the description which is a tutorial on how I extract the 3d models
Looking forward to this and more to come
HELP ITS IN MY HEAD! IT TOOK YEARS TO GET IT OUT! NOOOOO!

Thanks for this video. Buck bumble is a hit

I'm sorry what the fuck is this video quality. it's so good, holy.
I haven't had time to run it in a long while, but Road Rash 64 has some potential strats I have not seen anyone else use yet

Heads up OP, when you see the stat that says it took someone 10 hours to watch the video, that was me coming back after work, sorry 😂
