I saw the add on mod by Cyan49 as well, and was going to showcase it for him, but it caused me to crash when accessing Recolored Replica so I decided against it.
I just dont understand how people want mods like this to stop because "if he is allowed to do it so should we if not ban the mods"Like do you not realise with that opnion playstation wont ever progress like stop Whining about it and just enjoy that it is possible.Or learn it yourself
It appears someone found a way to put external assets on PS4. I expect Bethesda is going to remove the mod sooner or later due to Sony's restrictions. Too bad, some of the new weapons look awesome.
@@aurllcooljay I noticed that myself and you're right some of the new weapons look bad ass especially the steel, ebony, iron weapons I'll see how long I can keep the mod before Bethesda takes it down there's a few I want to put enchantments on
@aurllcooljay That could explain the unusual for PlayStation mods I've been seeing as late. I saw a custom Oblivion Icons mod recently that I wouldn't think possible due to the external asset rule, unless those Icons already exist in Skyrim's code. I tested the mod, and it works perfectly fine, however I don't know if they are actual Oblivion Icons, or Skyrim Icons adopted in that style, as I've never played any of the other Elder scrolls games. I haven't decided if I'll showcase the Oblivion Icons mod yet, as I don't want to promote it to my viewers if it is against the TOS and could impact the end user (aka, player)
@@aurllcooljay I feel bad having to ask this of you, as I don't normally ask anyone to watch my content, as that is for them to decide if they want to, but when you have the time, and if you don't mind my asking, could you please watch a Skyrim video I will be uploading soon regarding the external assets mods that are currently available, and the TOS, and correct me if I'm wrong or misinformed in the information I'm providing to the viewer? I decided to show not as a showcase to promote, but as a way to show the viewer exactly an external asset, the Oblivion Icons in a part of the PSA video. I don't like having to create this kind of video as I feel I often may (and probably do) get my information and facts wrong, even though I try to be as accurate as possible, and I am worried if my video is incorrect, it could cause more harm than good for my viewers. This is my long winded reason for my request to you. Again, sorry to take up your time with this as it's not your responsibility to fact check me. I just want the video to be helpful. Honestly, not sure if I should even cover this.
@@artifexdebello2568 that showcase I already had most of the quests completed that's how I got some of them the other can only be made at certain forges such as imperial weapons and armor can only crafted at the forge in Solitude.

He can't get the assets to show up on his end but if I can use your video to prove that they show up on PlayStation we can make all of this right.

@@jamesemerson7331that shouldn't be necessary, it'll just make the footage smoother for the admin to look at, I just let him know ahead of time that you were using TK's UI in case he didn't recognize the vanilla layout, it looks like your video is already putting a ball into motion, so thank you so much for showcasing this. In the end my goal would never be to get this taken down, I want external assets for all or for none, it has to be fair, especially if paid PS4 mods can't use external assets yet either. But I also really wanted to make sure that anyone using this or any other mods uploaded in this way were not going to be in trouble for any reason. I have been trying to put external assets on the store for years just as part of a penetration test, and according to the admin no one has permission to put new art assets onto the PS, so that's pretty definitive as far as answers go.
That's it man, go destroy other people's gameplay for the sake of your pride, stay on this platform with a mercenary and anti-consumer company and be limited to bad mod projects, well, I tried to bring something cool, but sadly there's people like you in the middle

@@echo1eyesonly13 I've looked at the game's texture files, and the icons are for sure not part of the base game. Sooner or later Bethesda will notice.

How did you unlock all of the mods without the quests?
