- Happy Monday to all my peeps!! Here is our latest dive and WOW IT'S A CRAZY ONE!!!! This dive started out sooooo sad, I mean we barely found anything and we checked sooo many dumpsters! But I am so very thankful for my awesome SUBSCRIBER, COOKIE LADY for letting me know that this DG DUMPSTER WAS OVER FLOWING WITH ALL THIS FOOD!!! If it weren't for her letting me know we would have never known that all this food was about to go to the landfill! Thankfully we were able to save SO MUCH OF IT!!! With my birthday being today, and us getting to the dumpster last night at midnight I thought, wow this is one heck of a bday gift :) And for me, I much rather like to give then to receive and when I seen all this I couldn't of been happier!! I can't wait to donate it all to all the places & people that are in need :)

I hate waking up in the middle of the night just to pee. But seeing your video makes up for it. It's funny I was just thinking when Beth was standing on the dumpster why not just get in. My husband and I went out the other day and found 37 boxes and 10 giant family sized bags of cereal. We distributed some thru our family and donated the rest to my aunts church to help with their food pantry. Most of it hadn't even expired yet (I checked for recalls there wasn't any). We had to leave some in the dumpster because we didn't have enough room in our truck to take it all. Our bed was full of lumber (we are in the middle of remodeling our home) So we had to put it all in the back seat with our kiddos I wish I could share the pic we took of them buried in cereal boxes lol Felt so good so save what we could and help out families in need. Love you and Beth so much, you ladies are such an inspiration.
So glad you and Beth saved so much. I've seen comments on other channels that people can't survive on snacks. My response to them was that they might not be able to ge snacks except through donations or at least they can spend on other food. It makes me mad when people say those things. It makes me think they have never been on the needy end of life, not very empathetic or stupid. Sorry for the rant, just aggravated with some people. Good work ladies and Happy Birthday Shannon

Happy birthday Shannon I love watching your dumpster Dives. I was shocked when I seen Beth jump in the dumpster. But again Shannon honey coming from a mom and now a grandmother please please get you some rest this is going to take its toll on you by you not getting enough rest trust me I know. I take care of my mom I'm raising my grandkids and helping take care of my daughter she's on crutches and has a deteriorating muscle disease so I know how it is when you take care of everybody else and there's not enough hours in the day. But you have to take care of you too you know

FYI, corporations/merchants can also get tax write offs for donating. They just don’t want to take the time, so they take the easy way out n file an insurance claim for lost. Glad there’s dumpster diving so y’all can save some stuff for donations.
