Had a million things to do and have a sick kiddo ( Ava has strep throat) :( then our power went out for over 3 hours bc of a horrible thunderstorm... But all is ok now and finally I have this video up for you guys :)

Shannon, your videos truly touch my heart! Sometimes I actually LOL (like the raccoon stories or when you dance after scoring), sometimes I'm brought to tears (when I think about those babies from the school district who are basically on their own!!! If not for generous, loving and kind people like you, just where would they be?!?) .... I can't tell you how much your videos have helped me .... I am disabled and can't get out much - it can be pretty depressing seeing the same 4 walls every day. So instead of wallowing, I watch your videos and live vicariously through you and Beth! I get so involved, I find myself talking (or shouting! Lol!) at the screen, "look over there!", "don't forget the ______ !" (fill in the blank with soap, shampoo, candy, candles, etc.)

Oh I’m so sorry about your new couch! You may have to get professionals come and get those 2 cushions clean! I have a dog too, my Maxx and he chews, we have to keeps things away from him! He’s chewed 2 brand new bras, a pair of shoes , and lots of paper including money!! We love him though!
The dye is in the cushion. Take the cover off and wash the pillow. You can put a towel between pillow and case and the towel will absorb the dye
The cushions & covers do not come off they r attached 😢

So sorry about you couch, at least you still have your couch!! I had a dog chocolate lab and one day when we went some where don’t remember where we came back and my couch was torn to bits, yes to bits. I was so mad. But he was a rescue and we think he just had a bit of separation anxiety , so we forgave him💗💗He never chewed anything again!! You gotta love them! He’s in heaven now he lived a very long time and he was my best buddy🥰🥰! You and Beth look out for those dumpster animals, stay safe 💞💞🦋🦋

We had lightening strike by our house on Sunday. Ruined 2 televisions, knocked out internet, cable and power. Most of the power is back on, but our garage and half of our living room is still out. Thank goodness, my niece is a licensed electrician, so it hopefully doesn’t cost too much. Just glad to have internet again! Can’t survive without TH-cam! Stay safe in the storms.

Raccoons are neat animals..they have sensors on their front paws and they can tell if there's food inside garbage bags. I used to hand feed some wild ones.

You shouldn’t feel bad when you can’t donate any food. I’m sure you realize that you’re not the only one that donates and so when you can’t other people will. So don’t feel bad because last week look at all the clothes you’re donating. You keep on dumpster diving and I’ll keep on watching!
I’m sorry to hear about Ava Bear having strep throat. I hope she feels better. When I had gotten carpet cleaned they gave me extra solution for carpet and it worked on my couch. Something good to get.
The last sofa we bought we were told to spot clean with alcohol. Might try. Love to watch you two.

I've not ran into any raccoons but I have had the pleasure of meeting 2 lovely squirrels at TJMAXX a couple of weeks ago. One was in a bag when I grabbed it. Didn't see the 2nd one till it jumped on my face and I fell flat back hard... falling at 35 like that is not fun. I had bruises and scratches but luckily that psycho didn't bite me😂

Squirrels!! I usually have birds coming out of the petco one... but I did surprise a racoon abt a month ago! He saw me way before I saw him.. All I saw was his butt running away and jumping off the lid of the dumpster. He WAS eating some pretzels... so, when I was done, I made sure he still had his meal waiting for him to come back! I was quite surprised he didn't try to fight me though! Glad he didn't! It was at a DG.

Lol! Happened to me, except there were 6 Racoons in the pet dumpster. Scared me to death! 🤣😂
It’s simple! Remove the covers from the cushions if they aren’t attached and soak them in oxyclean water overnight then wash in the morning! New fabric on furniture has a repellent sprayed on it to keep it clean as long as possible. DON’T scrub if you can remove the cover or you’ll just rub in the dye! If you have an attachment on your vacuum cleaner for wet cleaning, use it on the pillow insert while covering it with a towel so as not to suck off the polyester fibre covering. If you end up scrubbing it off, try flipping the insert over or around or both. You’ll do just fine! Happy Avabear is feeling better! Stay awesome and beautiful!

Don’t worry! If you scrub it lightly without putting pressure on top of it, it should still come out! As long as the dye hasn’t had a chance to dry you will be fine. Manufacturers have things like this in mind when they create these things. At least it’s water soluble and not oil based. Decades ago my sister wasted red oil paint on her new love seat. Before scotch guard was invented and we spent the entire night soaking it down with gasoline then mopping it up with every towel she owned. We were so flippin high by daybreak but we got most of it out! Lol! Nothing a strategically placed cushion couldn’t hide! By the time you’re done only you will know what happened and if you are left with a little colour you can always throw a pretty blanket over it! I’m sure you’ll find one if you need it! You’ll be just fine! Remember to treat Peanut the same as you treat the girls age wise! Except Peanut doesn’t know the difference!

If you can take the cover off the cushions, get some RIT color and dye remover and wash then and hang dry. It might take twice, but that stuff is amazing.
So much pet food! You haven’t been to the no kill shelter in a while. So happy they will be getting a good infusion of pet food.

If you can’t get it out completely, try to find sofa covers in the same or close to your sofa colour. Very nice haul.

Try some Awsome it is a liquid cleaner on the couch. You can get it at the Dollar General and also sometimes Dollar Tree. It gets almost anything out!

How about when you find a partial bag of dry cat food or dog food; you leave it in the back of your car for the Dollar Tree raccoon. Put it on the ground far away from where you are working and it'll be busy for awhile. LOL!
Check with the manufacturer of the dye and see if they have a solution to remove the stain.
