*If Katt did it:* "Katt, you're a wonderful person, and I still love you, but pleeeeeeeeease gimme a break." *If Falco did it:* "YOU BIRD-BRAINED ASSHOLE!"
One of the hardest medals to earn in Star Fox 64. Even worse if you don't succeed on the 1st try & give up your Hyper Blasters & try with the weakest laser. There's a laser power-up you can get from 1 of the enemy ships but its hard to tell which one.
It always amused me that ROB says "from the left" and not something like "from 9:00" or if the language of space travel developed from ships "from port side".
1:53 this stage scares me. The missiles aren't very fast, but they're horrifyingly sturdy, if you don't have either hyper lasers or at least 3 bombs you'd better focus the hell out of the last three missiles because if you can't stop each and every last one, it's straight to Bolse and the bad ending for you! (Although it does remind me of starfox 2, which is criminally underappreciated! Nintendo online gives it for free along with any other snes game that is worth mentioning!)
The missiles don't need to be fast when the distance between when you can attack them and when they hit the ship is so short. You can spend most of the time in U-turns trying to make repeated passes at it.
Yeah, find those boxes across the field that give you points/kills to help count towards the medal. I always go for those first and then focus on some fighter groups that bunch up before heading to the missiles. That pretty much always works to set up getting the medal and it's advised to go to Z from the warp to make sure Katt doesn't steal the missile kills.
The first time I did this stage, I came in from the warp of Sector X. Shooting down the missiles was, as always, the hardest part and Peppy had to return for repairs due to the mamy enemies as well. Without Katt to show up, being that I didn't do Zoness, this level was harder than I thought. But in the end, I was barely able to shoot down the final missile just before it could strike the Great Fox.
I read that if you lose a teammate in Sector Z, you can watch them fly into the Great Fox hangar for repairs. I can’t find a video of it happening though. Can anyone confirm?
I never understand why The Great Fox is in the opposite direction from the Lylat Map route? or is due to the enemy targeting it and The Great Fox went to hide it between the graveyard? mmm make sense because by destroying all the copperhead missile The Great Fox go to the right direction to Area 6.
Sometimes Falco and Slippy does shot down one missile each before reaching and hitting the ROB 64, Great Fox Ship. Falco: “One missile down”, one second later, Slippy: “Scratch one missile.” That took 11 points each for a total of 22 points which was nullified, needed for a medal. I just warped from Sector X to get to Sector Z, and the last medal, since I have collected 14 medals, including the hard ones: Katina, Area 6, Venom 2, Bolse, Titania, and Solar and have to be fast when killing enemies for hit points for a medals.
Honestly I dislike Sector Z the hardest mission I ever played Katt is always messing up my progress I lost 10 points...its much easier if I reach sector Z through sector X warp, Katt will not be pestering me anymore.
I LOVE how they redesigned the look of each sector's nebula. It's so cool.
true
4:32 When you realize Katt just robbed you from the medal...
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Actually Falco robs you of the medal in this video.

Double standards
@@mysterypotatocat i mean falco is kinda a jerk.

Animebryan2 I need two more metals on Expert mode hard paths: Sector Z and Area 6
When you destroy the 15th enemy, it'll give you the laser upgrade
Falco: Gee, I've been saved by Fox! How swell!

Maybe I was probably young enough to have imagination, but I remembered that both Kat and Bill (including Star Wolf?) during this stage.
There is a stage in Zero that has both
Um, that's Sector Beta of Star Fox Zero
age'd in reverse
Yes... at least Katt shows in this stages if you come from Zoness and save her
i think bill can be here if you play his mission earlier

Holdup
Sector Z has a warp?
@@CrasherX2000 Sector Z doesn't have a warp, but there is a warp in Sector X that leads to Sector Z.
@@XezeMaster I know now
But I’ve been playing this game for years and I’m just now finding out about this holy shit
Mission 5 - Sector Z
Difficulty Level - Hard
Boss - Copperheads
Hits - 100
Hard because the medal is very hard to obtain thanks to your friends stealing kills from you.
@@anthonychung5611 and the fact you need said friends alive to get said medal is harder.
HOLY SHIT!!!!! THIS STAGE WAS A LIVING NIGHTMARE FOR ME.
Mind telling me how?
Don't worry, Slippy's here.
HAH.
I love how this level became a stage for Super Smash Bros. (64)

There's obviously no way we could take them all out.
