Nice to see a good stamp of Pollack. Mackerel are around on South Cornish Coast, I had a dozen earlier this week. Be with you soon hopefully. Tight lines for '24!
I see you are moored up at Kingsbridge. Thats a hell of a way to go out wreck fishing. You do know that on the way, you are passing some of the finest fishing grounds inside the actual estuary (Not river) Flounders (Kingsbridge), Thornback rays, Gilthead bream, Bass, Conger Eels, and Plaice. 30 years ago, was my go to place. I know the fishing is not what it used to be but is it the case now - nothing much in the Estuary now? I will be back for a holiday in June/July, hoping to get down there and reminisce the good ol days! Looking forward to seeing more of your vids in 24.
You are right, the Kingsbridge/Salcombe Ria does still hold good stocks of all of the fish you mention. I do fish it occasionally but my passion has always been out in the open sea so I usually head there. The open sea also gives me weed free fishing, which is not the case in the Ria. Thanks for watching 👍
Hi David, sorry, I try to answer all comments but I missed yours for some reason. I have a neoprene seal around that hatch which keeps most of the water out. I’m assuming your gutters are clear and you’re not nose heavy when you’re washing down? I like the Warriior but this area is a poor design I would say.
@@fishingsalcombe Yeah alot of people with warrior's seem to be saying the same thing, Hard to keep on top of all the comments, Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Rob whats your views on a warrior for self launching from a reasonable slip like Mylor in Falmouth. Is a 175 manageable for a solo launch or would you go more towards a 165 or 170 if you are by yourself. Lovely video by the way thank you
Thanks mate. I have no experience with the 165 or 170. I only trailer mine to take it out for the winter service and it’s fairly easy single handed but very easy with two. If I was trailer launching all the time I’d probably put an electric winch on the trailer.
Brilliant trip, can't wait for the summer fishing videos 🎣
Me too John!🎣
Banging fish Rob!
Engine sounds sweet and the new windows look great! 👍
Thanks Bri, can’t beat a Yamaha (as far as I know, Ducati had a go at outboards but they don’t make them anymore 🤣).
Good start as you say, season has taken a while to get started this year. Looking forward to more of your videos in 24.
Thanks buddy, hopefully there will be plenty of videos to show!👍🎣

A good run and some fish to go with it
Thanks mate, hopefully the start of a good season? 👍
How do you keep the place where you have the bait table dry? If I wash the deck it fills up

Hey. Does your weight not get caught on the wreck?
Yes, unfortunately losing gear goes hand in hand with wreck fishing!
first again lol, nice one
You’re on fire!!
save our fish stocks from being exploited by commercial interests.
It will be interesting to see the difference this year?👍
