Our culture is richer then any other European one. We are the ones who connected Altaic culture with Persian, Arabic and then with Roman one. Our culture nowadays consist a lot of tengrism. Our food, language, soldiers, ranks all of them are Turkic. Our music is completely Turkic. Guys like u don’t even have a honorable history. Just learning other cultures to connect yourself with them. I went to the Balkans. Even to Greece. Couldn’t see the antic Greece with all his knowledge. They were just a copy of the Ottoman Turks. Also the Balkan is full with Turkish culture and they mostly accepted them and integrate them to their own culture. The Ottoman Empire was the complete version of the Roman Empire at his time. Like the east Roman Empire the west one tried to defeat us.

The word Asia actually comes from the latinised version of the greek word for Anatolia. The Romans called this province Asia minor but it was eventually adopted as the word for the entire continent.
You're partly correct. The Greeks referred to the East Bank as "Anatolia," literally "the land to our immediate east." Later, as the people of the East Bank moved further inland of what is now Turkey, the entire region became known as Anatolia. The Latin word "Asua" came from the Akkadian word "Asu," (or "Ossu") meaning "land of the rising sun." This referred to the Far East (Japan and Mongolia.) This word became Hellenized to "Asia" in the Grecian countries. The Latin countries continued using "Occi" or "Ossi" which is where we get the term "Occidental." So neither the Greeks or Romans considered Anatolia to be Asia proper. The Romans considered it a subcontinent of Asia (hence, Asia Minor) and the Greeks definitely understood Anatolia to be the Near East. Far east was considered Iaoponnía, from which we get both "Japan" and "Nippon."
Nope! The word Asia comes from the indigenous population in W.Turkey ,which is Bulgarian and in Bulgarian language Az means : me ,I .ASIA - I, my ,my family ,the me and my family ,imagine this : Me-ia ,I-ia if I can play some English language wording . There is no such thing as Greeks or Greek language . Greeks are just a mixture of Romans duped into a new nationality as Greek that do not belong to region of modern Turkey or Balkans . There is not a single, real map with Greece on it before 1830! There is no Greek alphabet it is Phoenician ,language as well . Aristotle writes down during a visit at Alexander's : " then Alexander called HIS SOLDIERS IN HIS MOTHER TONGUE ,and I did not understand ANYTHING "
@@RockandrollNegro can you show us a single proven map with Greece on it before 1830 ,and then we can trust what you've written down so enthusiastically .
The word Anatolia of course is not Turkish. It has Greek roots and it means territory "east of Greece" which means today's western Turkey. In western Turkey you will find Greek Smyrna, Turkified to Izmir, where thousands of native Christians were murdered and the city was set on fire by the Turks. There are two primary reasons why Turks use the word Anatolia or Eastern Anatolia to refer to much of Turkey's Asiatic part: 1. To remove from the map any mention of former states or kingdoms today under their occupation. 2. To erase from memory any mention of the native Christian populations they deported, expelled and murdered.

The Latin countries continued using "Occi" or "Ossi" which is where we get the term "Occidental."
So neither the Greeks or Romans considered Anatolia to be Asia proper.
@@realhistoryisunpleasentfor81 wow you seem pretty uneducated. Go open a book,do you have books in your country? Do u even know how to read?
The word Anatolia of course is not Turkish. It has Greek roots and it means territory "east of Greece" which means today's western Turkey. In western Turkey you will find Greek Smyrna, Turkified to Izmir, where thousands of native Christians were murdered and the city was set on fire by the Turks.
There are two primary reasons why Turks use the word Anatolia or Eastern Anatolia to refer to much of Turkey's Asiatic part:
1. To remove from the map any mention of former states or kingdoms today under their occupation.
2. To erase from memory any mention of the native Christian populations they deported, expelled and murdered.

YOU DECLARED WAR IN 1974 AND MOVING YOUR GYPSIES IN EXCLAVES,ANDO NOW YOU INAPROPRIATING OUR GREEK HISTORY AND CONVEYING -lLEASING OUR PROPERTIES AND INFASTRUCTURE TO THE MORON TURKISH TROOPS.YOU ARE PRESERVED AS A SUPERIOR NATION AND YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE PREVAILED OVER GREEK CYPRIOTS AND DEMAND TO DOMINATE THE ISLAND OF CYPRUS.YOUR TROOPS KILLING INNOCENT GREEK PEOPLE ON THE GREEN LINE(Isaak Solomos and Solomos Solomou),200k of Greek refugees you asshole,Asha village Englezou family extinction,Karpaz indigenous people trying to cope with your fascist ''government'',Turkish sovinism on the historically Greek island with multycultural content(Armenians,Arabs,Latins and Turk) all these in parentheses are minorities that could have a more suitable way of handling without the presence of the imperialistic country of Turkey.Turkish Cypriots,Armenians,Manorites and Latins are all penetrated and controled ethically, econimically and emotionally by Turkey. When Turkey asserts the extinction of the native Greeks and wants to decrease the number of Turkish Cypriots who fly abroad in Uk etc for a better future then none else is guilty for the situation and tragedy that is held in Cyprus,at this moment by the Turkish carnivore troops seeking for Greek blood ,as also the repatriation of the Turkish Cypriots in other lands of Europe and America. If this is a legitimate way of handling your compatriots as you said why you hold them in an ''entity'' hat is only recognised by the shitty Turkey. They belong to Cypriot Democracy and not to the KKTC.The foreign residency of Turks and Kurds by Turkey in the north occupied part of Cyprus is a way of making the island a doctorate in order to 1)establish here nautical bases and harbour for fleeting in the East meditteranian sea,2)as also and airbases in order to convince the international law that Turkey has a speech in the game of hydrocarbon reserves that belongs to these Israel-Egypt-Cyprus-Greece countries. And 3)Turkey wants to control the northern part by inhibiting the commitment of Turkish Cypriots and indicating that official religion there is Islam, exceeding the fact that over 500 churches were buried and as a consequence 200k people were kicked out from the homes of the ancestries.
10:02 now only Istanbul's population is around 17 million
Biri şunlara bizim arap olmadığımızı, çölde yaşamadığımızı ve bunun arap müziği olduğunu anlatsın
Arabs lived in the ottoman empire for a long time and they intermarried with turkish women. There are many arabs in modern turkey. Also turkey has an arab religion and a lot of arab culture. Compare al assad to erdogan, who looks more arab?
Turkey had camels in the past. Izmir had camels. I have seen old pictures

Interesting history, thanks for video! Greeting to Turkey from Ruthenia (Ukraine)!
How's it going now
R u okay
Ottoman empire wouldn't had won the Byzantine empire if the Greeks ( Byzantine empire) didn't had all these enemies
That kinda sums up the fall of bigger country to a smaller one almost in any such case mate . Try and curb your hardcore nationalist tendencies...
Gaining allies has always been important. Byzantine empire called for a help to holy roman empire but holy said : yea we gonna help if you accept our dominance about the religion. Byzantine rejected ofc.
Also , yeah Fatih the Conqueror wasted too much casualties in the battle ,but with superiority of the cannons , those walls wouldnt stand anyways
@@Corgi_Leonidas you could edit the 1st comment
@@paulmiller7933 you know byzantian gonna weak in 1200s bcz of so many enemies. Ottomans gonna weak in 1800s bcz of Russia france uk. In the history all of the empires going weak bcz of those reasons
:D? Ottomans used the first cannons in worlds history and caused to fall of “feodalism”. Ottomans was super power. They can invade Vienna too if Mehmet II. would live more. He wanted to invade South Italy like Otranto but he dead before doing it. Ottomans were stronger at the Mehmet’s time rather than Suleiman the magnificant’s time.
This comment section’s gonna be a real controversy.
Oh you were right. But it was obvious.
Downfall ProductionSS Too obvious
I haven't seen anything that wild (yet)
If only the Ottoman Empire had made Smarter decisions back then I bet The empire would would still be here and non of this would of happened.
For sake of Americans understanding, let's just call the entire Balkans "Greece"...
That would be offensive to the Albanians, Serbians, Romanians, Croats, Hungarians, etc.
Turkey is a modern society with traditions that serve as a bridge between Asia and Europe. They are descendants of their empire-building ancestors. The music you have chosen is wrong, as are your thoughts. ;)

Roman converts ,this is what Turkish are ,mixture of converted Romans.
