- today I'm going over my journey with medical-grade skincare, specifically ZO Obagi Skin health. I document my skin's process throughout the month of June and let you know if medical-grade skincare is really worth the high price tag.

Love ZO! Changing my skin, it’s amazing. The daily power defense is expensive but worth it. My lady told me to cut the pads in half, ahhh! Makes sense to use them until they are dry, I’ll start doing that.

Hi, what cleanser from ZO do you like? And is the daily power defense acting like a nice day moisturizer? I will not use sunscreen for the first months in the day. (I know that that is not optimal but for me it is now like this.) So I look for a nice day cream.
I'm not sold on "medical-grade" skincare, but that exfoliating polish is worth absolutely every penny. I haven't yet come across an exfoliating product as effective as that one, and you only need to use the smallest amount imaginable, about a finger's worth. I'll definitely be buying that product again.

You are absolutely right!!! Medical grade is a way to label normal ingredients and make them available in a derm clinic only! Look at Dr Dre on TH-cam who is a dermatologist and she explains this very well. Paying hundreds of dollars for products you can find at the drugstore is absolutely ridiculous! Lol

Thank you got this review. I’m about to try these, though I am cynical about that much fragrance and that many exfoliating ingredients without moisturiser! Hoping it will do something with hormonal cystic acne though.

Did anyone else notice they switched up one of the products . They were sold out for a while and they finally restocked but changed the name of the acne line and switched the sulfur masque for a complexion cleaning mask

Esthetician here. Curious as to why you chose this kit that’s geared towards oily/acne prone skin when your skin is dry and not acneic?
i had occasional breakouts at the time i purchased this, so i would think that is why-- as well as the fact it came in a nice bundle! lol. it surprisingly worked well for me :)

This is 2 years later, but I enjoyed watching this! I just started ZO this week...and was weirded out by no moisturizer at first but it works somehow? I'm only using the exfoliating polish 2 x's per week but I am loving all of it! Also, RIP Theo.

@@Gaga_Stars Hi Kin. At night, I'm using ZO face wash (the one for normal to oily skin - my skin isn't oily but this works also for anti aging), then the ZO renewal pads, Daily Defense, then Growth Factor serum. In the morning, I just use a Tula moisturizer to prep skin for make up.
The smell of the cleansing pads is actually denatured alcohol.
I work in the medical Field and since COVID started. I’ve wearing a mask for over 10 hours a day. My acne is horrible so wish me luck!

@@rachhan1 Omg sooo worth it!!! I've used almost every high end eye cream on the market and this one is by far the BEST. Took away the lines, much smoother, and I just love it. I get compliments all the time about how glowing and young looking the skin around my eyes are. I'm 32 BTW and was addicted to tanning beds and for sure had premature aging.
Short answer YES! Worth every penny
A little goes a long way with these products. "Little" is the key word!

Try the Zo Skin WRINKLE + TEXTURE REPAIR. I’ve been using it for 2 months now. Twice a week at night and love the results. I really recommend it. Not cheap but well worth it… 😊

I just started using the ZO Obagi exfoliating polish and the ZO obagi radical night repair (for a little peel), and Tretinoin (small strength, 1x a week right now). I use sunscreen every day. Is there anything you recommend to help brighten up the skin and lighten skin tone?
Check out the ZO skin Health brightening (and texture) program. Second time I am using this routine( followed up by a 3Step peel approximately 3 months after this prep) and it really helps me a lot with melasma ( hyperpigmentation).
One answer it’s worth it! I’m 28 years old and I expect to look the same like now in 10 years! Haha I don’t have major skin issues but it’s good for prevention

what would you recommend for 25 year old with normal skin, main issue are the skin is a bit dehydrated and pigmentation (slight). I would like something to prevent aging
I’m starting zo on Wednesday next week cant wait .... I usually use clinic take the day off too but my clinician has said not to use any I other products at all on my face ... maybe worth asking yours... also I’ve been told i can cut the toner pads in half to make 60 instead and they will last longer ... xxx

Hi, i have been using ZO. 10% vitamin C. Before it I apply ZO toner.
But i think Vitamin C is causing a bit itchiness on my skin.
Is it normal or shall i consult to my doc.

I am about to try these products but I researched and it is contain way too much alcohol, mineral oil, fragrance…. Very harsh for the skin.

I just wish fragrance was removed from all this stuff. It is only used to cover up the smell of the other ingredients.

Honestly ZO skincare didn’t change or enhance my skin at all. I’ve been using it for over a year and no results, including the retinol and vitamin c..It doesn’t work for everyone

I’ve been using the products for a month now so not a very long time but I’m not seeing results at all. Just got a second kit hopefully I’ll start seeing some results ☹️ if not these products are super expensive I’ll discontinue use and just go see a dermatologist.
There is no way to really judge this line in a month. It takes several months for your skin to adapt to retinol, for instance. I’ve been using this stuff for the last eight years. I’m almost 70. Look at my photographs.

they are classified as medical grade because of the higher concentration of active ingredients in the product!

How long do your products usually last?
The complexion renewal pads last for one month, other than that I still have all my other products (not even a quarter through with them) 2 months later!

Hey so you ordered this kit on there website right? And got full sized products while just paying $150? I’m asking because I recently seen an esthetician and she told me for the kit I wanted it was $500 at her spa. So I went online and it was $180, but she told me the online kit is travel sized products and would only last 3-4 weeks. And the only full sized products was at her spa for $500😕 but looking at your products they look full sized So I’m confused lol.

I got the kit sold to me $148 with taxes at a medical spa. It costs $140 you can double check on their website zo skin I feel like you guys got ripped off
