    Yes, the mindful break is key! There are days where I feel as if I'm running in circles. Forcing myself to sit back and stop is so key!

    Love the idea of eating in 3s. I eat at my desk, and don't focus on it at all. I do take a walk during my lunch break though, which I find a great help

    • @AdrianaGirdler
      @AdrianaGirdler  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Taking a walk is a great way to take a mindful break. It's also a wonderful change from just sitting down all day. Are you going to try the mindful eating too? I'm glad you're getting some mindfulness in every day! Cheers!

    I work in a busy pharmacy and when I start my shift and leave my shift and for breaks, I wash my hands. As I wash my hands I mentally prepare for my duties, things I need to do, lol for lunch where to go, and I really take advantage of this opportunity to find a peace in mindfulness for what I'm about to do and I've noticed it helps me feel good at peak busy and am not as stressed as I used to feel!

      It is an excellent practice and you won't regret giving it a go! We all have hundreds of distractions in our day to day lives and I agree, we get pulled in so many different directions! That's why I firmly believe in the power of mindfulness. Cheers!

    Love this. Some days when I don;t have time to mediate before I leave the house, I take 2 minutes to close my door and get in my zone so I can feel grounded and not overwhelmed before I start digging into the day's issues. xoxo

    • @AdrianaGirdler
      @AdrianaGirdler  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's so amazing, thank you for sharing! Sometimes 2 minutes is all you need. Especially on those busy days when you're in 'work' mode but just don't have the time to meditate. It can always be done at work or on-the-go. Cheers!

    Being reminded of this option is really comforting. It also applies to continuing to work at an organization that is toxic. These are excellent suggestions. My favorite is mindful eating. Have you ever looked at Conscious Eating from Gabriel Cousins (th-cam.com/users/drgabrielcousensmd) It's a big book but is worth working through. The introduction was the first place I encountered the idea of mindful eating.

    • @AdrianaGirdler
      @AdrianaGirdler  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, mindfulness is especially necessary in a toxic environment! Thank you so much for the recommendation. I love reading (especially reading about mindfulness) so I will have to check it out. I really appreciate your suggestion! Mindful eating has been a game changer for me, too. Glad to hear you're practicing mindfulness! Cheers!
