I know this is a joke but couldn't help using it as an opportunity to point out that there is no dark in Runescape. Or light. There is no night and day. The 'camera' doesn't rotate up that far. Time is a suggestion, not a law. That's why 2 different people can be at 2 different places in the same quest.

Andrii feel free to play either, or both, the old school version is based on what the game was like in 2007, what you call the main version (officially "RuneScape" with out subtitles etc) is generally referred to as "RuneScape 3", and has been in continues development since the inception of RuneScape in general over 20 years ago, it therefore has a very different feel to "Old School RuneScape" as graphics, game mechanics, in game content etc all kept developing beyond recognition. people who tell you to play Old School only do so because they are nostalgic of what the game was like when they were kids, personally I do play old school only, but that's not because it's better, but rather because of the nostalgia factor. I say try both, and stick to whatever you like better, or better yet, keep playing both.
