- Right now, you're hurtling around the Sun at 64,000 miles an hour. In the next year, you'll travel 584 million miles, to end up... back where you started. In this spectacular three-part series, presenters Kate Humble and Dr Helen Czerski follow the Earth's voyage around the Sun for one complete orbit, to witness the astonishing consequences this journey has for us all. From seasonal extremes to destructive weather, they travel the world to experience the great events that are shaped by our journey around the Sun. They venture back in time to show how the Earth's orbit has changed, and the astounding effect this has had on the planet. From stunning space imagery to in-your-face storm chasing, this series showcases the incredible power of our planet's epic journey around the Sun.

Thank you! Phenomenal! Very important basic concepts about our planet but crucially important! I never really understood the importance of the Coriolis effect and other natural forces on this planet. You've made these vital concepts interesting and entertaining. We desperately need to know how our planet works. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Kevin Russell
I do not know for certain if Netflix broadcasts in OLED, but I found an article titled "I saw Netflix's Daredevil on an LG OLED 4K TV, and it was amazing" when searching "Netflix OLED" on Google. That seems like a yes to me.
Ya’ll do know that this is 3 minutes of a DVD with 3 parts
The balloon went super nova
Fish eye lens always. It doesn't matter how advanced cameras get, doesnt matter how much technology advances anyone who sends a balloon up always uses the a fish eye lens to distort the entire experience. Why??Apparently it's going to take us 100 more years before we face that answer.
J. Hester exactly
Fish eye lenses allow us to see more of an area with a camera. They bring more light into the camera to be seen by the sensor, sacrificing distortion
Did the balloon really make that explosion sound. I know the answer but I want to hear it from you lol
Plz tell me if you know
