As a patient, yes a patient who is frequently on the pca it helps to know how they work because a majority of the nurses (god bless their hearts) have no idea how to work the pca, so I am often left with stretches of time not being able to access my pain medication. But now I know the basics, I don’t think I will be having many instances where I don’t have access to my pain medication anymore. Phew! 🙂
In my hospital we have this type of sryngie but there is problem which the sryngie stop infusing at the last 10 ml of syringe so how I can fix this problem
Your syringe pump has so many process, too many buttons to pushed, so confusing to use. Technology supposed to make things easier not harder as a state of the fact.
