You are so much better off getting a shield or even an ugoos am6 plus with external ssd or hhds. This things price vs the hardware you get is insane. Like you could get a decent mini pc with windows 10 for this price. And really the firmware never really changes much. Its always that same crappy budget tablet layout. Been that way since their first box, so you will most likely be stalking freaktab forums for the next best custom firmware all the time

I liked the ease of installing the hard drives most!! Sorry so much was not working properly, proper testing should have been done before the unit was sent out.. Bee Link dropped the ball there.. The good thing all those issues can be fixed fairly easy by BEE LINK... The review was SUPER as Always...
I guess it's not fully Android OS but Android Stock. I also don't see Dolby Atmos Support. I would have try it for the rca analog to listen to my hi res music via a Dac. Will stick to the Shield for now.

The fire cube's processor is pretty much the same as a gt king pro but it has less ram and internal storage. It gets extra points on his rankings because its fully compatible with legit streaming apps and can run them at their max resolution. It's not saying the beelink boxes aren't capable of displaying 4k video because they can. You just can't get more than 480p out of most of the legit streaming apps due to lacking certifications and it's rooted(jailbroken). Also idk why the gt king is above the gt king pro when it is noticeably not as good as the gt king pro.

I find it hard to believe you just came across a box that has a built in nas zidoo has been doing this for a long time and if I can remember did mygica and buzz tv come out with a has ability,I know for a fact my zidoo x20 pro has built in nas and I am running two wd black drives in it for storage , also my 10 year son built a has using a raspberry Pi 4

I agree. I don't see any reason to have a tiny little box -- I actually would love a rack sized tv box -- but this may be better for cooling than that type of box.

Wifi/bluetooth is hit or miss depending on the batch you get. The wifi on mine burnt out in a week, but the ethernet port has been going strong for months now. Even though a lot of people complain about the ethernet ports failing. Apparently people that know about components have reported that they recieved boxes with the bluetooth and wifi cords that were soldered to the wrong antennas. Beelink isnt really a reliable brand. Everyone that positively reviews them have affiliate links. Which is fine, I mean you gotta do what you gotta do, but you aren't getting a properly tested review. Its just a few hour first impressions review.

Firesticks are good if all you are worried about is netflix. You can get the 2nd gen firestick for $30 or less when its on sale and you can even use it to emulate up to snes or for running any apk that you feel like sideloading on it like a proper androidbox. The only problems with it for its price imo is the fact that you need to use an otb cable to use usb devices and the esc or right click button on rii touchpads doesnt work to go back to the previous page in chromium browsers so you have to use the amazon remotes back button to go back on the brave browser
You can always just install an SSD. It's a sata interface. If you are talking pcie x16 or m.2 the question is if you need NVME performance on a NAS why are you buying this?

It isn't worth the price tag their offering why would I pay $269 for a half working box when I can pay $200 for the Nvidia shield with no flaws or issues
This box is a scam, for this price you could buy a Nvidia Shield Pro, that is better in every aspect or for a much lower price (for around 100 Dollar) an A95X Max, that also has the option to mount a sata drive and is more functional in every way.
Bottom line Nvidia shield is the top box I looked at all your android box reviews and none of them have not came close all the box you review have the Netflix issue and that's why it's the top box in my opinion
Allot of hype for a machine that has allot of issues. Number one big issue is this machine will not play AVI files. The remote Is a joke. Way over priced. Software is not stable.

When you turn on the TV or use the TV AV button does it turn on the box like the GT king Pro does,as some including myself have experienced.
