Even when i turn on the Bluetooth audio in the hardware settings it still does not show up on the audio menu :(
***FOR ANYONE GETTING STUCK**** If BT Audio still isn't appearing after going into engineering mode (which happened to me TODAY!) You have to delete/unpair ALL CONNECTED PHONES FROM YOUR CAR. Then go back to audio, BT Audio will now be there. Continue with the steps and boom. This worked for me today, five minutes ago 2/2/24. Still having troube? Tuen the car off then back on. Still stuck? Reset the unit like other posts says. Dont be scared. It works. YOU'RE WELCOME!!🎉🎉🎉

Yes, but its slightly different buttons and instead of the scroll wheel the buttons next to the screen are used.

5 years later and this video helped me, thank you! The dealer said that the bluetooth was only for answering calls, but I could tell by Spotify telling me that it was connected to bluetooth that the car would play it and voila, it does!

Aye bro thanks man, worked like a charm ps. If anybody does this and then still can't find bt audio even if they turn car on and then off. I went back into settings and hit update software and it reset the monitor and the option finally became available!

I had the same problem at first but what I did after going thru all the steps was I shut my car off for about 20 minutes then started the car up and boom it was listed in my audio listing. Seems like all it did was reset itself.

This works, but once I connect as a audio device, I can’t make phone calls via Bluetooth. I can reconnect MB Bluetooth as a phone as well (two separate connections on my phone) but then the audio has latency issues. How do I fix this?

Wow. You are my new favorite person. I thought I was gonna have that aux cable hanging out of the glovebox forever! Now is there any way to get it to display the song rather than "audio device paused" and have the button on the steering wheel work to skip songs? :D Oh and while you're at it, could you tell me how to switch places of the cruise lever and the turn signal lever?? Hey! Did you solve the issue? I do have the same problem here. I don't have any audio button. My menu is quite different as in the video. I only have the options of the cds, aux, media interface and radio. Even when I turned on the Bluetooth audio in the engineer mode menu it didn't show up. Any suggestions?

Like some others have said I had to do a system reset but then it became available and it works well the first couple times I played music via Bluetooth it had hesitations but if I stopped it and let it by for a bit it’s seem to play very well sounds great

Like 165,000 now. No problems except transmission mount covered by warranty. but annoying stuff: Rear tires are $400-500 and last only 9-10 months (40,000 miles)...transmission fluid equipment or change is expensive! Oh make sure to get 11 with 7G + transmission and not 7G...

@@mikeicee you’ll have to forgive me but my last car died about nearly two months ago and had to get a replacement. I’ve never driven Mercedes before and some of the console buttons have been peeled a little from wear and tear. I did try Googling the pound button but it was not much help and when I tried it didn’t work which led to me to believe it probably needs to be recalibrated
I have an E250 CGI-March of 2010-my screen shows only the bottom line of the menu which says about sound, radio, presets and info. The top line of the menu which mentions navi, audio etc. is missing on my car. Can anyone help me get that top line?

Hi Mike! After following all the steps, and activating the Bluetooth through the engineer mode, BT does not come up in the menu (between Music Register and Media Interface) as it does on yours. Any ideas?

so it's 2022 and i have had my benz for 7 years and didn't know about this smh!!! I have been using a transmitter that speaks different languages before connecting lol so thank you for eliminating that and yea we are up to iphone 13 now lol

The ”pound” button?
You have to explain that people have to hit the knob left right up and down to navigate through the system. Most people just bought the car and looking for guidance. Make sure your detailed or people won’t get it. I had to go to another video to understand u can hit the wheel
LOL Bro your command click wheel is probably broken 99%. The part that breaks inside makes it so you can't select things by rotating the wheel. You can still navigate by nudging the wheel up/down and left/right.
