This sounds more human than the actress who actually voiced her. Much better. Honestly, at first, I thought everyone was over reacting to how bad Ada's voice was in the RE4 remake, but after playing it, I 100% agree how terrible she was.

God, *this* is Ada Wong. She has a character! You can hear the familiarity and intimacy between her and Leon. Leon is written as really standoffish against Luis which can be attributed to PTSD and trust issues from the events of RE2. Ada sounds so warm by contrast, like she's trying to melt the ice Leon is projecting her way. There's so many ways to interpret their relationship and it *all comes down to acting*. I criticized Ada's dialogue and entire demeanor as brusque, like she didn't want to be present for any of the conversations she was having. And it really made me dislike the character and in turn criticize Capcom for "taking the character in a different direction". Because that's how she was presented to me. But this? I'm intrigued and want to see more of the character. A little bit goes a hell of a long way.

I love this voice! I'm during my first playthrough of re4 and my friend told me to install this. I just git to the first ada scene in game and I'm glad I'm able to experience this game with this mod
I really, REALLY wish this mod was available for PS4/PS5. This is what Ada should have sounded like. It's warm and inviting, but at the same time cold. Just perfect. Like she's been through a lot to change her character but at the same time she is who she still is. GAAAHH

Hope a RE2R/Jolene Anderson version in work too 🤞🏼just for continuity sake I feel like her voice fits this Ada face model the best. I don’t even mind script/line changes, I saw another person test Jolene’s voice for the boat scene and changed “see you later handsome” to “see you later Leon” and it fit the scene way better. I love Jolene Andersen's performance in RE2R! Technically RE3R brought me to the RE universe but RE2R was the game that sealed the deal for me. Both Nick's performance as young, idealistic and naive Leon and Jolene's performance as aloof Ada who shows her vulnerability and flirtatious side later in the game, were amazing! That's why RE2R will always have a special place in my heart ❤

Though, I was wondering if there was consideration in changing Leon's voice-over to sound more like Paul Mercier? After playing the original RE4 when I was younger, whenever someone said Leon, he was the first thing I would hear in my mind with his iconic lines.

THIS SOUNDS SO GOOD. Capcom better come around and implement this as an official "alternate Ada voice" option in RE4 Remake on all platforms. I'm playing Separate Ways right now and Ada's current voice actress is so bad I switched the voice langauges to Japanese. It's not much better but at least I can tolerate her voice now.
This is a hundred way better than the original voice actress ,now her voice fits her figure and she has a personality and that's her re6 voice i guess, thank you anyway

This is so cool! I love that you fixed the mistmatched voice over when she tosses the rocket launcher because it doesn't sync originally (use THIS! HUH!) While she clearly mouths "Leon!"
I'm glad you noticed that. It was a creative decision to replace the line as it would appear that the development team forgot (or didn't notice) Ada's mouth flaps hadn't been animated. So, I took the liberty of using the camera pan up to sneak in that little line alteration. Personally, I didn't think the "use this!" line fit well with that particular scene, hence calling his name to get his attention seemed more fitting in that situation. I was debating whether to add a "finish it" after the rocket launcher dropped, but never generated it.
It seems like they've tried to replicate the scene from the original but simply did not give it the same amount of care they should've. Really took me out of the experience because of how badly animated it is, and the animation for the rocket launcher landing on the ground is from the PS1 era. Thankfully you've created this to improve it! I can't wait to see how you go about Seperate Ways when it drops!

I wouldn’t dare not buying a RE game on consoles anymore. Capcom does things that irk me that the modders can fix. Poor alternate costumes, bad camera fov, that ever so annoying adaptive difficulty they love using, etc.
There was no hate on the voice actor, but she wasn't right for the role. Ada voice is a soft, kind of seductive, but confident voice. Remake voice actor felt just robotic like the re2 remake voice actor was great kind of ashame that they stick with her.
