I will be watching your channel year round, N. FL 9a gardening. I'm learning how to garden during the winter. Thank u so much for the information on the drip system. I'm the one who has fear of it n trying to learn as much as I can about it.
I did drip irrigation to my side yard/shade garden after watching you do your shade garden! It works okay, needs a few tweaks but my 68year old hand strength isn’t that great, you mentioned something that could help with that, could you include that type of information when you make the new video about drip you were mentioning? So helpful! Also do you remember where you got that pretty green watering can? Something else for my Christmas list, right behind that root slayer shovel and heating pads for seed starting this winter! Most of this year’s list comes from watching you.
I was able to add drip irrigation to my garden this year after watching one of your videos earlier this year. Game changer for me. Looking forward to seeing the comprehensive video this winter.
I bought one of those drip system from the big box store, which i attach to my hose. That drip system you do is too technical for me. Im glad you that you figured out what was wrong and fixed it. I never touch foxgloves without gloves 😁
I’m in northwestern Montana and my garden is finished. I’m still learning lots from you! I’m researching what (if any) seeds I can plant outdoors now to get seedlings for spring. 🌷
Interesting, so many neat and new gardening discoveries. My experience many years ago was elementary. Sow seeds in egg containers, eventually plant in garden and water with hose often! Our vegetable garden was an entire side yard, and i would have loved a drip system!!!! ⚾️
I 9nly live 4 1/2 hours from you. Would you consider a road trip next March or April to help me set up a very small drip system? I mean small! My back yard is maybe 25 by 35 feet. My garden is a border garden and some containers and one vegetable raised bed. 🙂
Maybe! Send me an email at mrsamandasdale@gmail.com … I don’t get long amounts of time away because I take and pick up my kids and help other parents every day of the week.
💐 question about the drip and running it in a loop. Which line should be looped back onto itself? The 1/2” or 1/4”. Would it still give good pressure if the 1/2” was tied back into the system? I hope that makes sense.
I have a system like yours. What I am finding out from Pro Irrigation is that the 1/2 inch poly pipe can handle 200 feet with 200 gph combined . They sell 3/4 and one inch poly pipe to extend the distance and amount of water running through it. I am trying to water one acre. I will be looking to purchase from them in the future. Do you find that the punch tools put a hole through the poly pipe to the other side? That is a problem for me.
We’re back in our “fake” fall here, aren’t we?! At least it’s cool in the mornings and not too bad in p.m. but now it’s getting dark so early! 😵💫. Still wide awake in Wylie. 😂. Have you been here long enough to know that saying?
Yay, you fixed it! I know you're so happy about that, and your flowers are, too! 👏👏💚💚
Yes! Thank you!
My gardens are not big enough for drip, but always love to learn. 💐💐💐💐
Thanks for visiting!
Looking forward to drip irrigation videos. Enjoy the day😊
Thanks! You too!

Yes, just Google hand tool for drip irrigation. And the water can was from Home Goods.
@@shesamadgardener thanks!

That is awesome!
I loved this video I was intrigued to learn that a circle works better and am not trying to figure out how to make that happen in my 4 zones.
Definitely helps with water pressure
Still watching. In St. Louis. 😊
Yay! Thanks!

Yeah got to be careful with foxglove!

💐 Always helpful!!
Glad you think so!
Very helpful, thank you!
You’re welcome!
Thank you for the video !
My pleasure!
Thank you for sharing!
My pleasure!
Good job. Congrats!
Thank you!
Lots of great information. In your opinion what is the difference between the Drip and the attachment that you can adjust?
The adjustable one spreads a lot more even when it is nearly closed. The drip is extremely precise.
Yeah!!!! 👏👏👏👏
Thanks!

Both if possible but if you can only have one, do the 1/2
@ thank you!

The punch tools have a very short “punch” so they have not punched through both sides when I have used them.
The line was soft because it was so hot outside. I went through on two different spots. It kept collapsing everytime I used the tool.
Darn! I haven’t run into the issue.

How long do you set your timer to run?
It changes throughout the year … currently it is every 3 days for 20 minutes.
❤🌷

Since your meter shoots water when it is turned off, maybe the line is sucking air when it runs???? Causing the air and water to fight.
Maybe!!! I’ll keep an eye on it!
