    I'm currently trying to build Slicer and Mishra so I understand the aggro they got from the table. Tomer said that Slicer probably shouldn't be played in more casual settings in the podcast a few days ago and I kinda get it now.
    I was gonna bring it to play with my friends who are on mid powered commanders but this game made me realize that it might make people feel like they aren't able to play their general's theme. (They were able to play to their themes somewhat in this game. I'm just inferring how it'd go with less archenemy-ey decks.) Slicer does force them to use resources they would use to supplement their theme and play towards Slicer's commander damage end goal instead. Of course removal is key but Slicer did actually die a lot in this game. Pretty cool deck but I realize I can't play it against a casual acquaintance who's just getting into commander for example.

      @shinobu-39 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@billranes8541 It doesn't seem that high-powered to me though. It definitely can't play in competitive tables. If the concern is infinite extra turns, I think that's an infi-turns problem and not Mishra exactly.
      I think he definitely generates value but he's pretty easy to keep in check as seen in this game. By easy, I mean if the table is responsibly playing removal which I guess some pods forget to do.

      Absolutely! For ramp, you’ll want several of the green auras that enchant lands and make them tap for extra mana. You’ll also want a copies of The Chain Veil and Oath of Teferi to get extra activations of Estrid and potentially combo infinitely. Calix, Destiny’s Hand is worse version of Estrid but gives you card advantage not attached to an Enchantress creature. Most of the other slots are enchantment-based card advantage, removal, and copy effects.

    • @maltramac
      @maltramac ปีที่แล้ว

      Technically, the legend rule doesn't make you sacrifice, it just makes you put all but one of the permanents in the graveyard, bypassing "can't be sacrificed", indestructible and so on.
      704.5j If two or more legendary permanents with the same name are controlled by the same player, that player chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners’ graveyards. This is called the “legend rule.”

      I'm pretty sure he has said in the past that it's because it usually leads to 3 players keep hitting 1 for that extra mana. And the player targeted with the Curse is usually already in the weakest position. So, whilst the card is really good, it makes the game not fun for one person.

    Does crim understand what fair means? He's constantly twisting so called unfair situations in his favor. Fairness doesn't involve stealing and taking advantage of someone else's unfairness. It would involve negation only. All of Crims policing is just as unfair as what he seeks to stop and then he gaslights you guys about being the unfair ones. I would bet he's the reason this season has lost over 10k viewers per week. He's a hypocrite

      @@enmanuelrondon9700 that's not the issue. It's just him constantly complaining about what he considers "fair" in terms of cards allowing you to break Magics fundamental rules(mana acceleration etc). He constantly complains about how ramp etc is "unfair" and yet when he's able to turn what he considers "unfair" into an advantage for himself that's him being "fair" in his mind. However that's not fairness. This is annoying to listen to on a week to week basis. They're all just playing the game. Some Magic cards are written to break the fundamental rules. No one is actually being unfair except for Crim who thinks he can decide for the crew and all the viewers what's fair and good gameplay for Commander Clash. He's actively changing how they get to play and what we get to see based on his idea of in game fairness which doesn't match whats written on the cards. And his picking amd choosing what he feels is "unfair" is the hypocrisy. By his own logic he should also consider card draw outside the draw phase, playing at instant speed on an opponents turn, and using the graveyard at all, as unfair but he doesn't. Why? They're all card text effects that break the fundamental rules of play. If that's his standard for "unfair" then he's just as guilty yet he doesn't see this and calls his play style "fair".
