Alter bridge NEVER disappoints! Heavy but melodic!! Mark Tremonti has to be one of the most underrated guitarists and songwriters of our time!! Absolutely amazing!! Rock on!! 🤘🤘🤘
He's pretty great but he puts himself in a box. His tone is mediocre at best on most songs and he has been using a lot of the same riffs for years now.
I mean underrated in the sense that he and Stapp are one of the most prolific song writing duos AS FAR AS ALBUM SALES GO. They're up there with Lennon and McCartney. And that's a pretty amazing thing as far as I'm concerned. I love Tremonti's tone, attitude, the whole 9! He and Alter Bridge are just roll up your sleeves and get after it blue collar work ethic dudes. And how can anyone not respect that? He's one of the greatest in my opinion and doesn't get the accolades he deserves.

I could cry tears of joy right now. This was phenomenal, the band sounds better than ever and I'm foaming at the mouth waiting for this full album to drop.
Guys are on top of their game, no question. Tremonti is an absolute beast player, writer, artist. And, Myles has grown so much from his solo work - just like Mark. Such an underrated band. My all-time fave, hands down.

It was a long day yesterday, I couldn't sleep and I grab my phone, go into youtube, the little bell and to my surprise this song !!! With a big smile on my face I run grab my headphones and press play and as I heard the intro my heart begin pumping again faster and faster. It's a booster for me now, just when I'm tired and about to give up, I heard this and gives me an alternative way to my problems. AB I'll always be thankful for be able to hear your music and hopefully I can catch on tour this time. AB forever!!! 🤘🏻🍂✨

I did tell Mark Tremonti on Facebook that "The Uninvited" was the first Alter Bridge song I listened to, two years ago during the pandemic when he was in the pre-songwriting stages. I also told him that I liked that song a lot.
There are "some vibes" from 2013s' "The Univited" from their Fortress album, but this song is 2x as good- in my opinion. It has some major "Indoctrination" vibes from their previous album: Walk the Sky.
So many Fortress vibes bleeding out of this song. I absolutely love it and pawn & Kings. Last 2 albums weren't my favorite but this one has returned AB to form and as a long time fan I cannot wait.
I'm the biggest obsessed fan you can imagine (Tremonti's band too). And I aint even mad there's no killer Tremonti solo. Could it have set the song to another level? Maybe. But this one is a solid, 'killer single' type song and I'm not at all disappointed. The riffs are simple and heavy and catchy as usual. If its even slightly a taste of whats to come - IM AS STOKED AS I HAVE BEEN COMING UP TO EVERY ALTER BRIDGE ALBUM!! Also, there isn't a favorite or best album. Each one has its own unique tone and vibe and I would have a very hard time ranking them. This song reminds me a lot of The Last Hero album vibe. It would have fit in literally anywhere in that album.
I hope the whole it's not like a St Anger type deal with no solos. I noticed the other song the released a few weeks ago didn't have a solo either. Tremonti solos are always bad ass! 😭

The middle breakdown is intense. Especially with a good sound system and subs. The bass drum kicks are awesome.
What I love about these guys is that they go off on their own and make really good music then come back and make music that is distinctly AB and which is consistently epic.

It's been almost 2 decades since I've fallen in love with this band, many things have changed since then but I kind of feel that my musical sense have developed along with their journey in the the realm.
