Many people loved Creed and don't accept AB, and many others call them Creed with a new singer without giving them a fair shot. If they had come out before Creed, I think they would be much bigger, since there would not be that constant comparison. Personally, I'm a fan of both, but while AB may not be as big as Creed were at their peak, they have what it takes to endure. Creed had the hooky choruses that brought in the pop crowd, but AB is more about pure rock, which IMO holds a much more loyal fanbase.

AB is a natural progression with a singer songwriter at the helm who intentionally backs off to let Mark shine (Myles Kennedy can play circles around Mark, and that's no lie). It's not fair to have Tremonti, one of the best guitar players of the last 30 years, paired with Myles, also one of the best guitarist of that time. God Bless Heavy riffs and soaring vocals

This may sound petty, but I really appreciate what a class act Miles is. His communication with the audience during their concerts is always respectful and appreciative. He's just a different breed when it comes to rock & roll lead singers! It doesn't hurt that their music is amazing as well! Thanks Miles!
Yes he is very humble and a great talent. I just saw his appearance on Rick Beato's podcast and he sang Watch Over You. I never knew he was such a good guitarist as well. I found a new appreciation for him and now I realize what Slash saw in him.

Guardian Yea I think everybody has a particular band that hits just right in their life and what’s going on at the time, Creed happened to be mine. I was actually in a drug treatment center trying to get off opioids when I heard Creed for the first time and was blown away with Stapp’s deep lyrics and just the whole sound of the band at that time. AB kicks ass that’s for sure! Myles can sing like a mother fucker but I just can’t feel it like I did with Creed! ✌🏼

This band continues to produce songs that resonate with my own life experience, both prescriptive and descriptive. Spiritually it's an absolute marvel how that is even possible with such frequency. I have gained countless new perspectives on and understanding of my self, and they also have given me solace, strength to persevere, motivation to better myself, drive to strive and more.
After listening to AB for the last couple of years I feel that this band is a true meaning of real rock band that cares only for music and sending a message. There is no visual complexity that would distract us from music. Their dedication to the genre is true and many bands should learn from them. Too bad I live in such a small country where there is no possible way they would visit us.
I can remember back in the 70's-80's just with pure excitement anticipating the next album release and tour by the bands ... Alter Bridge makes me feel that way.

There's actually a reason behind that, Myles wasn't actually in the video with the rest of the band, he was greenscreened in, so they had to make it look all over the place so he would blend in :P

Alter Bridge is one of these bands where this statement is absolutely true. I listened to the Last Hero and didn't like it that much at first tbh but after listening to the whole album 3-4 times I was like damn this shit is absolutely fire. Same with this song.
where i live the radio plays what they did 7 years ago as being new. Most of the newer stuff like this i have to tune in here or on a subscription based radio service just to know what is new out there.

After listening to AB for the last couple of years I feel that this band is a true meaning of real rock band that cares only for music and sending a message. There is no visual complexity that would distract us from music. Their dedication to the genre is true and many bands should learn from them. Too bad I live in such a small country where there is no possible way they would visit us.
Disturbed is also very much like that also.
I'M really really glad and proud to see the evolution of this band since the first Album, it's amazing!

There's actually a reason behind that, Myles wasn't actually in the video with the rest of the band, he was greenscreened in, so they had to make it look all over the place so he would blend in :P

Alter Bridge is one of these bands where this statement is absolutely true. I listened to the Last Hero and didn't like it that much at first tbh but after listening to the whole album 3-4 times I was like damn this shit is absolutely fire. Same with this song.

I literally just heard it on Planet Rock. We have two national rock stations in the UK, and most US states have at least one.

where i live the radio plays what they did 7 years ago as being new. Most of the newer stuff like this i have to tune in here or on a subscription based radio service just to know what is new out there.
