Lord, I love that song! I've never heard it on harp before. And you have the perfect outdoor setting for it. I remember when that tune was the hit of the land. Thanks for making me feel young again. I am really looking forward to Wednesdays.
What a fun idea! I’m working on “Danse Macbre” on violin and Bach’s Toccata in D minor in piano…but sadly, I don’t have a Halloween idea for harp yet. But now you’ve got me thinking!
@@MiriamsMusicRoom I have a country & western singer friend who lives in Texas. He was in the Netherlands once, for a tour, and we visited one of his radio disk jockey friends. We ended up singing "Country Roads" live on a radio show. Can you imagine how special that song is to me? 🙂
Wonder if this will Drop into Hayao Miyazaki's "digital Feed." (He must have listened to this John Denver song a few times, while animating "Whisper of the Heart.")
Beautiful performance! Would you be interested in making a video about your harps? Maybe geared towards other younger players who might want to get started, (so their parents know what to buy! lol)
@@MiriamsMusicRoom We have just barely gotten started! Right now we have the smaller lap style for which I found some song cards that slide underneath, but nothing like a "real" lever or pedal style harp, which is what we would be looking for. Something really beautiful in its own right, that could still serve even a beginner well into intermediate or advancing repertoire.
@@sp1704 That is SOOOOO exciting to hear! I started with piano lessons, but kept asking for a harp, so my parents added violin lessons and voice lessons, but I kept asking for a harp. I finally got my Salvi Mia for Christmas when I was 9 years old. My parents did lots of research that I wasn't part of. But I can say that the Mia is a great choice to grow with. I'm able to do all the advanced techniques on it and it has a full, rich sound. It comes with extra legs that you can attach as you grow taller too. There are many TH-cam videos with harp comparisons. I'll try to put together a video about my harp journey which could also help you with tips to get started. In the meantime, check out the website Learning the Harp. That's where I first learned!
🎉😊🎉 : Lovely music, Happy New Year!!! 💐💟💐
Thank you so much! Happy New Year 🎈
Excellent ! J'aime beaucoup.
Merci 😁. I’m studying French also 🤗

I love the way you make music in such a natural way. Your sound is quite developed, the harp is well tuned, go for it! Thank you for this video.
What a nice thing to say! Thank you so much.
Impressive! I'm surprised no birds have come to sit and listen too~
Sometimes the birds do come and tweet along with me. I recorded this one right after the cardinals left the yard at dusk.
I can't believe how good she is at her age.
Wow! Thanks so much. That's really nice of you to say. 🎶
Thank you and greetings from germany: Live long and prosper 🖖
