I first heard this piece on cassette in the days of the Sony Walkman - I was travelling by bus from London to Athens during Winter (a hazardous journey) - we were passing through the border of Italy and Switzerland and the vision through the window of morning sunshine dancing on the icicles hanging from the roofs of the houses simply dazzled - that memory has stayed with me ever since.
I have two pieces that stirs my soul. Beethoven’s 9th and Pacabels Canon in D minor. To watch these unbelievable musicians play the 9th is totally amazing. Hats off to a great performance.

Canon in D was my introduction to classical music. I heard it first in a movie as a child and I was transfixed by it's beauty. I did not know it's name and I stumbled across it a few years later and learned it's name. This performance was beautiful. Thank you for reminding me of the profound grace, light and refuge music brings to the world. You brought a tear to my eyes while listening to it.
Pachelbel's Canon, Bach's Toccata and Fugue, and Philp Glass' Metamorphosis - probably the most beautiful pieces of music written in my opinion. Wonderful rendition, thank you so much for sharing!

This morning my depression and anger at the world got to me. And I’ve been upset all day. But listening to this made all the anger in my heart melt away. And I realize I may need to get back to playing harp myself. It always seems to relax me. You all play wonderfully! Right now I play lever harp. I hope I can play pedal harp as proficient and beautiful as this one day.

Mark my Son and Suzie his Wife walked to each other while this beautiful music was played, at their wedding last June. I have always loved this music, they had kept the music they had chosen for they're wedding ceremony, I had secretly hoped the music would include Pachelbels Cannon, but thought its not modern enough. I was so wrong, and when Suzie entered, and this amazing music started, I was, to say the least, emotional, because of the lovely wedding of course of Suzie and Mark, but I think also the music bring out this emotional feeling in me every time I hear it.
