Feeling homesick today. I wish I could be there to help up with the storm fallout. Thanks for letting me see Bette and Maynard again. During the pandemic the line "Groceries don't count" line kept us sane and laughing when all we could do was grocery shop. Beautiful song and great voices. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the rest of us off-islanders.

Fantastic song....I'm from Cape Breton Island. The GREAT times I had there in the 80's are no longer to be found anywhere in 2021. It wasn't just a FANTASTIC place to grow up. It was a better time also. 2021 sucks globally.
i am sooo thankful that i never heard this before i moved back home because i would have spent sooo many years crying! now i am home, i am safe and i will sing this song to all of my caper friends who can't be here with me now. thank you for such a beautiful song! you are all touching hearts and souls! xoxo

Nice video and song but why is there no people of color ? I see native people but nothig else asian south east asian Black people etc.... just wondering
