Calvin is my hero! He is such a terror. I love good Calvin too, great hair, but he comes along so few and far in-between. So many to crazy scenarios to mention Hobbes is so funny, poignant, hungry and loving...Poor Roslyn, but she holds her own, especially being a teenager. Mom and Dad roll their eyes and hope for the best. Watterson was genius. BEST EVER IN MY BOOK!!!
This strip proves Calvin is imagining most of these scenarios. As a kid, seeing how I imagined most of it was real (in their world) was something. Seeing as he didn't step in looking like a tiger to his Mom and Dad, it's obvious. I didn't get it as a kid.

People ARE roasting me for this. If you look at this video and my other videos, there are some negative comments. I’ve never deleted a comment someone made on any of my videos, and I never would. And what’s so dreadful about my videos?
@@SuperJamz64 well i can respect that. But some people seem to like it. So there's that. As to my and others negative reaction: we have ideas about what these beloved characters sound like. And then to hear them so different than we ever imagined is jarring. I also think they don't sit separately enough. There needs to be a little more pause. And the voices are too similar That they run into each other a bit. The accent you gave Hobbes is a strange stylistic choice but certainly original. And the inflection tends to hit this super high squeaky thing that can hurt the ear. Your natural range might be a bit lower. But you clearly enjoy the characters. It's just funny how wildly different people can imagine these voices. A guy did a live action skit w the babysitter material that i really liked. Much more in line that what I've imagined over the years. But maybe you'd find it boring and unoriginal!

The thing about Calvin and Hobbes is that everyone has different voices in their head for the characters, and it's inevitable that the voices I do for Calvin and Hobbes that I imagine them sounding like are different than other people's voices for the characters, which is fine. I only make these videos for fun pretty much by myself, because I love Calvin and Hobbes. I do my best voicing Calvin and Hobbes, and I'm going to keep voicing them that way. I have absolutely no problem with other people's voices for Calvin and Hobbes being different than my own.
