Me as 6:30 Calvin, 6:30 Hobbes, 8:30 Calvin, 8:30 Hobbes, 7:30 Calvin, and Miss Wormwood (6 characters in one video. That’s a new record for me.) My mom as Calvin’s Mom
This was one of my favorite time travel story arcs next to the first one. Hilarious how Calvin created a major paradox by going 2 hours into the future.
Hello Jamz, I’ve noticed that because our CaH videos are about a comic series, the app doesn’t say anything about the copyright involved. Have you been seeing any people claiming CaH is copyrighted against us?
No, I have not. I have got copyright claims on a few of my Calvin and Hobbes videos, but none of them were from Bill Watterson, they were for use of copyrighted music, like the Seinfeld theme, the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme, Never Gonna Give You Up, and JJ Heller's Calvin and Hobbes song. In all of those cases, the owner allowed the content to be used on TH-cam, so it wasn't a big deal. All of the Calvin and Hobbes comics are available on GoComics for free, which is where I got the pictures used for my videos, so I guess Bill Watterson doesn't have a problem with people using Calvin and Hobbes comics in fan videos. If you're talking about comments, while I have gotten a fair share of negative comments on my Calvin and Hobbes videos, nobody has claimed that the comic is copyrighted against us. I DID, however, recently get a copyright claim from Gary Larson himself on a video where I dubbed Far Side comics. The copyright claim said I had 7 days to take down my video, or it would be automatically deleted and I would get a copyright strike. I took down the video as a result. The email said that the copyrighted content used was from The Complete Far Side, probably because some of the comics shown were screenshots people took from that book. Gary Larson disapproves of his comics being online unless it's on his website, so I understand.
@@SuperJamz64 You see, that’s exactly what I was thinking. My family bought all the comics ourselves all those years ago, and as a young adult, I saw individual strips on Pinterest before I got to work myself. And yet just today, someone with no videos or other record accused me of betraying Watterson, even though I make the videos for free. It was interesting that both TH-cam and TikTok never once pointed out to me that my visuals were from a comic book series and my audio from a video game, so thank you from clarifying what I thought I knew about our videos!
@@redculturedash8074 Yeah, you are not betraying Watterson. Sometimes people will make angry comments, and I've learned the best thing to do in those scenarios is just ignore them.
@@redculturedash8074 If they’re spreading disinformation, I guess that’s for the best. I’ve personally never needed to delete any comments on my videos, so I don’t exactly know.
Did 8:30 Calvin answer 6:30 Calvin's question at 2:17? Personally, I want to ask him why he didn't do the assignment, and what he intended to do, now that it was bedtime and it still hasn't been written. Also, it was 8:30 Calvin's mom in the end?
Bill Watterson gave up tens of millions to not merchandise Calvin and Hobbes, and one reason is because he didn’t a child actor cast to voice Calvin or Hobbes. Rather, he wanted the reader’s imagination to fill those roles. After listening to your grating interpretation of both Calvin and Hobbes’ voices, now I get it. A great deal of the magic is lost with a voiceover. These comics were meant to be enjoyed in silence.
what a genius. watterson is surely among the greats.
Yes, he is. He’s one of the greatest cartoonists of all time, along with Gary Larson and Charles Schulz.
This was one of my favorite time travel story arcs next to the first one. Hilarious how Calvin created a major paradox by going 2 hours into the future.
One of most unique and creative Time traveling story ever.
This illustrated a time paradox in a clever humorous way.
He brings up some interesting issues if you were to ever consider doing any time travelling.
Love it. Hobbes saves the day again.
Calvin's one and only A+😅
Yes😊
It’s hilarious when Calvin says that the right mood for writing a story is last minute panic
This is one of the best stories
Your voice for Hobbes sounds like how I thought Moe would sound like.
Hobbes is the best
Thatcher is my favorite comic5 book
I enjoyed this, it was shown in my class XD.
Wow! How did it go over?
@@SuperJamz64 Well, they showed us in class, like, irl class, it was in my teacher’s PowerPoint.
these are fun. the only comic i want narrated to me
Thanks! I've never seen that one! And an A+ at that! That is a first for him.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
TIMES INFINITY SQUARED!!!!!
One of the few times he got a good grade
The voices you do for them are very cute
Thank you. :)
Amazing job! I’ve watched this video About 10 times in two days.😀
Idk why but I love these voices smh
I love all of these videos
great reading and the voices match the characters
hilarious... good job. subscribed
One of my faves !
This is drastically underrated
Had to turn off the volume, not at all how they sound in my head. Thanks, though. Not sure if I ever did read these before.
Ever read the story when he goes to the dinosaur museum? Maybe you can do that story and other stories from the strip that have dinosaurs 🦕 🦖
I certainly have, and I certainly can.
The cuts are too abrupt.
It needs 1-2 seconds before it starts moving and 2 seconds at the end.
lol maybe we should send this to the New Yorker...
0:15 Calvin’s spaghetti noodles tried to kill him?
1:14 But you’ll create a time loop…or create an alternate timeline where your teacher is a monkey!
Are you going to do the story with the Think Tank?
The Cerebral Enhance-O-Tron? Yeah, I’d like to do that. I’ll get to work on it and credit you in the video title.
I'm on Hobbes's side.

He must have had a kind-hearted forgiving teacher! Ms. wormwood had a weak moment. 😁
4:13 Is this Hobbes or Mr. Watterson speaking?
Both.
@@SuperJamz64 Ok, let’s go with that.

Please slow down the first panel view and stop the awful narration.
I hate the voices. Just post the strips and let us read them ourselves.
Nah....
The Voices are great
😁😁
