I loved this comic as a kid and as an adult. And I definitely remember the "Get away from our door with that drill!" I didn't get that part as a middle school kid, but find it hilarious as an adult. 😂😅 Good job on this! Love the voice acting!
The look on Susie's face at 4:33 makes me think of Curt Jurgen in The Enemy Below. Now Calvin, just turn the right way and I'll give you a pretty present!
I did as well. According to Bill Watterson, Hobbes isn’t imaginary, nor does he come to life when Calvin is the only one around. The simple truth is that Calvin sees Hobbes one way and everyone else sees Hobbes another. He’s real to Calvin, and that’s all that matters. :)
Susie and Hobbes are in her room, she tells Calvin from her window to get away from their door with that drill. Later Calvin asks Hobbes about it to which he’s sassy and responds, Wouldn’t you like to know? Adult innuendo that I was like huh? as a kid but now I get. Omg 😂
He left his name at the end of the ransom note that was supposed to be anonymous. I think it’s safe to say that Calvin didn’t really think this through.
Ever read the one when he wants to secede from the family and go live in the Yukon? Or the one when he and the rest of the students are told to make a bug collection but he doesn’t have his ready in time? Or the one when his class are in a contest for making the best road safety sign 🪧?

When I first started reading Calvin and Hobbes when I was younger, I thought Hobbes really could come to life

Great job, love the voices as usual!
Thanks.
thank you
No problem.

The stories when Calvin imagines that his bicycle 🚲 is alive and trying to get him are some of the most hilarious
One of the best stories in this strip
Hobbes doesn’t seem to be as naughty as Calvin
Yeah, he’s the more moral of the two, but is still prone to mischief. He’s simultaneously the angel and devil over Calvin’s shoulder.
Where did Calvin think that Susie would get $100 from?

Very true. He obviously didn’t think it through. He should have known not to leave his name on a note 🗒️ that was meant to be anonymous
Heh (ps when is the Christmas letter dub due?)
It should be out by next Thursday, maybe earlier.
Sorry, I didn’t have time to do the video today. It should be out by tomorrow, though.
Thx
