Why don’t people use air filters on the boats?
Well… honestly, all I know is people before i got into the hobby 20 or 30 years ago have been running no filter. Boat is not on dirt. Boat is not on a track. It’s been working for years. I have same question as you and i came to the conclusion that the more air flow (no filter) will help the overall speed during racing.
How does the reaverse work on the dblx 2.0 gas
There is no reverse. The buggy would need a transmission with reverse (which i haven’t seen)
It does not go back

Custom fuel tank. A buddy of mine created it I and DEFINITELY wanted one lol… if interested i can give you info. Cheers
