Massive Attack On X During Musk Trump Interview

During an interview (CHAT) between Elon Musk and former president Donald Trump on the social media platform (X), which netted (pardon the pun) just over 1 billion views, was hit with a massive cyberattack. A DDOS attack to be specific which caused the start of the LIVE CHAT to be pushed back 30-40 minutes to all for Musk's cyber security team to mitigate the hackers attack.
Today we discuss what happened, was it preventable, and finally look at some real world white-hat security tools which could be used behind the scenes during such DDOS attacks.
