    Had owned the previous sport model for 7 years as a work car for me and my wife. Great handling zippy car, very ecomical as well. Between the 2 of us, we drove it everyday, every damn SINGLE DAY! Done close to 200k with NO single problem or any single issue during the entire ownership! Just regular servicing. Now that’s reliability!!!

    • @Duijnkiller
      @Duijnkiller ปีที่แล้ว

      the new one its faster indeed by 0.5 second.
      but the revs are disappointing and the corner handling feels not the same.
      the fun part feels removed.
      hate to break it to you but this new gen might not be reliable as the old gen
      the new gen has many technical issues known in the past, the main issue is the car is GDI.

      Sourav Acharya what you need to understand in Australia All Swifts imported are Made in Japan. Maruti Swifts are Made in India and a different story. In Australia the Swift has a 5 Star ANCAP Safety Rating. Part of this is actually crash Testing the vehicle. You comment may be valid for the Indian Market, however completely different in Australia. The Swift Sport in this video is an Australia Delivered Swift Sport so your comment is not valid for this Video. If it was a Maruti Swift, 0-100km/h Test then your comment would be valid.

      @iNSTAGiB there's not really a comparison. And it's hard to make a starting point at the two cars. The refinement level of the cupra is miles better than the swift and out of the box performance isn't even close. But there's some of the gadgets in the swift I miss and the nice little bucket seats too

    • @willmaddox1986

      @iNSTAGiB the swift had a very lack lustre power plant, even mapped had a very diesel like power delivery.
      The cupra has an awesome e-diff and it has the capability of ripping you out of a corner. This particular mqb chassis in the cupra as probably the most playful of the bunch

    120k miles on it and i bet it fked. The body is weak and i advise you wear helmets when driving one. I had many suzuki and i went to look at 1.0 baleno which is terrible build quality. And swift 1.0 i thought was a little better but i guarantee if a motorbike hits you or a dog your swift/baleno will come off worse. Too bad as i liked the look of both of them but no more suzuki for me now, every suzuki i had has been reliable til around 100k - 120k miles and turns into an annoying money pit😕.
