When Sonic was being scolded by Tom in the boat, he said an exact line that detective Carter said in the first Rush Hour movie. Tom said “you destroyed half a city block.” Then Sonic replies “That block was already messed up.”
I loved the film. It was a good movie. I hope Jim Carry comes back for sonic 3 cause who else can play robotnik as well as he can? If not I hope his retirement goes well.

I feel they did these movies right. They do a great job staying true to the source material while making their own version of the Universe. Lot of other Game based movies screw this up big time. Loving the Sonic movies and having fun watching them with the kids. Cant wait until the 3rd one comes out
My hope for the next film is they take the idea of the "fake hedgehog", that there is a Hedgehog out there causing havoc so GUN turns on Sonic. Sonic discovers Shadow and immediately accuses him of being the faker setting him up, the two fight. But the reveal is that the "Fake Hedgehog" wasn't Shadow at all, but Robotnik who has created Metal Sonic using the Sonic Quill, who will then turn on Eggman and use the chaos emeralds to turn into Metal Overlord (so it will borrow from Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes.) If you can fit Amy and Rogue in there somewhere, go for it, but only if it works for the plot.

Just so you know, the movie and the one comic is not the only time robotnik goes super. He actually goes "super" in the adventures of sonic the hedgehog cartoon series. There was a series of episodes were robotnik went back in time to get all the chaos emeralds, and when he got all of them, he became: "the supreme high robotnik".
One thing I noticed was the "hairdos" sonic has in the party scene, when he's in the bathroom styling his quills. That also leeds to the skateboard.(which is a nod to several branches of the sonic multivirs. The hair bit is identical to the looks of his brother and sister.(you know. While the series is bonkers and its versions of the Chaos Emeralds are pretty 'unique' they are still the Chaos Emeralds and he does indeed go super in the final episodes 'Supreme High Robotnik' it's uh sure something haha

Robotnik also becomes the "Supreme High Robotnik" after collecting the four Chaos Emeralds in the AOSTH cartoon series (obviously not canon with only 4 emeralds). :)
