    I today tried your trick with my recently bought used g7x mark ii compact camera and it worked. I first tried with out the plastic bottle as others suggested but it didn't work. It worked when I used the vacuum cleaner fitted with the plastic bottle. No more dust on the sensor now and I'm happy. Thanks! 👍🙏

    What happens if my power banks output 5V at 3amp instead of 2amp, would this still work? I ask because in the product description it says Max input current: 2A. Let me know. Thanks.

    • @gurribuy
      @gurribuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes. this would still work. Out of 3A, it will only take the Amps it needs to work.
      Just make sure that the device you want to run using this cable doesn't take more than 1A. Because this cable hardly outputs 1A and anything above that the cable would not be able to power it.

    • @gurribuy

      if your phone is capable of outputing at least 2 amps through otg then you can use a phone to power this cable.
      But, the maximun reverse current through an otg, i have measured is only 500mA.

    Is it risky to use?
    I mean if by chance the voltage increases to 12V on a 9V router then it's done for.
    Btw my router is 9V 1A but the 9V booster cable I was able to run it with. 5V 1A powerbank. Any thoughts on that?

    • @gurribuy
      @gurribuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think 9v would turn into 12v.
      (voltage can go down though)
      So, i don't think there is any risk.
      Now,
      Router would probably consume full 1A.
      when you are using all the features of your router, all the ports on the router are utilized at the same time.
      Also the current rating on the products is always a little higher than they actually consume.

      yes, your modem is not getting enough power it seems. Maybe be your modem needs more current than this cable can supply.
      Make sure you powerbank is at least 2.4A capable. and make sure you are using a 12v cable not 9v cable.

      @@maddymadhan7284 powerbank only gives out 5 volts. unless you use a boost circuit.

      So, a normal dc cable will not work.
      Now, this cable is only suited for routers upto 12v 1A or less..

    There is no way this converts 5v 2.4a to 12v 1a.

    none of the 12v booster on 5v power source can provide any near at 1amp of current. just do the math, the best it can provide is around 480ma @ 12volt power, and this is given that you plugged it on a 5v 2.4amp power source.
    the only best thing I can see this work on 12v 1amp output is using a type c power source that have quick charge. depending on the charger/power bank, it might even be able to throw a native 12v power without boosting, that's just how quick charge power works.
