- This whole situation is insane, what do you guys think about the Star Wars Theory vs Star Wars Explained fandom war with suing, demonetisation and threats flying everywhere?

Molly only discrediting theory by saying “he’s doing all of this for views”, really proves his point that she is really obsessed with youtube views
She and that other clown Kyle Katarn believe that they have some kind of giant fanbase on Twitter/X, when most of those accounts are either bots, weirdos with multiple accounts, and all of the accounts have similar bios. Pronouns, Rainbow Flags, Palestine Flags, some obsession over a Rebels or Clone Wars character, etc. They have egos because Lucasfilm pays them off with cash, goodies, and free early access just to give fabricated positive reviews on everything released. They’re basically Lucasfilm’s sock puppets, and they all find Theory, The Critical Drinker, and the others to be a threat. This was the last straw, and I’m so glad that Theory made that video. Star Wars Explained and Kyle Katarn are done for, and they deserve it.

I am not in the star wars youtube fandom I just recently knew about star wars teory and dont know absolutly nothing about any other channes but from what he says they have been openly attacking him in videos from a long time and from what I can tell thats true, they didnt try to say those messages are fake (I am not fluent with english and dont have twitter so can say 100% for sure)

All you need to know is contained in that first communication that Theory and Explained had. The way that explained tried to introduce himself as a shepherd of sorts. Very creepy. Not normal behavior and indicative of a very manipulative person.
Made him sound like he was the cornerstone to star wars on TH-cam. Also found it rather weird he kept asking how he was successful despite being new to the game. Fishing for tips and stuff.

I'm barely what can be called a Star Wars fan, and haven't watched anything Star Wars for a long time, but I couldn't help but see this nonsense going on. Even though Theory is a big channel, I wasn't really watching it, but I was watching reviews of The Acolyte from Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker. From what I saw, they confined their criticism to the content of the story, the production, and the performances. They said very little, if anything about the orientation, identity and ethnicity of the actors and producers, except to note how preoccupied the producers themselves were with those things at the expense of good storytelling and character development.

I would even say the same thing with some of the other fandoms especially the _Indiana Jones_ (mainly the Indy Die-Hards who *ONLY* enjoy the first three films) and The Walking Dead fandom.

I was subscribed to Star Wars Explained around 7 years ago. I saw some shit that showed just how toxic Alex & Mollie were, and I haven't paid any attention to them since. There's a reason Star Wars Theory is the biggest Star Wars channel there is, he's a passionate Star Wars fan and a good person all around.

Like LinusTechTips got hacked and turned into a Elon Musk bitcoin livestream, but He was able to get it back and restored. Hopefully it can be restored back to the original content. The paid memberships are being scammed by the poster/uploader right now because of this current political stream and channel name isn't what they paid for.
either way, the membership perks do not match anymore and therefore TH-cam should refund all current members and cancel the memberships until the content is returned to the proper Star Wars content, otherwise they are scamming people, hackers or not.
I noticed that Molly is failing to see the point people are bringing up in regards to trying to end someone and their team means of making income due to you not liking their opinion. If she believes that what is being said is incorrect then the best answer is to make a statement explaining what was incorrect. SW Explained didn’t start the campaign, that may be true, but they definitely posted and made a comment that they reported the channels to TH-cam.
So either they participated or they lied about participating, which frankly would be worse because that implies they’re only involved in serious movements for the cloud.

Seems to me the fandom is more united than it has been in years. People are just seeing who Explained is (at least those who haven’t paid attention in the past). Between a handful of access media-esque YT channels and a vocal minority, it seems most SW fans are on the same page right now.

Alex is a walking Wookieepedia. He's not only in it for the views and money. Who wouldnt want to be able to quit their regular job and make a living off what you love, talking Star Wars? So you try to figure out how to do that from people that are already doing that.

The best thing people can do is just not engage with Star Wars Explained. This is all about money for them. Going to their Twitter brings up engagement. More money. Going to their videos brings up engagement. Gives them more money. Even if you are going to give comments on supporting Star Wars Theory, you are giving them more engagement. this is what they want. Ultimately gives them more money
No offence to Star Wars Explained but, his channel kinda sucks, his voice is annoying and his videos are just simping to disney vids. lmao
