I may have said this already, but I love how you aren't afraid of reviewing bibles with covers that aren't leather. It's about what's on the inside that counts. Kinda like a human 😊
I am copying the notes and highlights from my ebibles to a journaling bible so I have a hardcopy backup. I have purchased special highlighters and pens that are specifically designed for bibles so they don't bleed through.
Thanks for the review. I ended up buying the large print journaling bible in black hardcover. I like hardcovers, single columns, and now due to poor up close eyesight, large/giant print bibles. Very hard to find especially in ESV.
I like a journaling reference bible KJV light lines. I like reference so the writing does not go down in the middle of bible. Yea! Thanks I make my own Faulk leather covers.
I thought journaling bibles were about doing arts and crafts and doodles in your bible--if what it actually is is just another name for a wide margin bible then i think i could get into it.
If you have a chance sometime, please let me know if you like it. I have been interested in a similar one. Large print for me too! 😏 @purringg@yahoo.com
9.5 is not what I would call a large print. I have glaucoma, and thst’s not really big enough for me. The smaller one is beautiful, and I wish I coukd see to use it.
Great review! I was wondering if you could do a review of the "esv wide margin reference bible in top grain leather", and compare it with the "Cambridge wide margin", and how two the fair against each other. looking for a gift to buy, and I like your way of reviewing. thx, hopefully you'll be able to do it. blessings!
I'm not 100% sure, but the bonded leather looks like Cromwell Leather. If that's the case then it should hold up much better than most bonded leather covers because they use 50% more leather fibers. How well has it held up?
I hope some one from here..donate me that kind of bible...i love to have a wide margin journalling bible..taking notes whille reading the bible...but i cannot afford to buy that kind of bible...🙏🙏🙏

Haha I was going to buy the leaf one! Thankyou so much for showing me it! ❤️
Did you get it yet? If so what are you thoughts about it?
I'm looking at the leaf one too.

Ooh I never knew the definition of bonded leather before. They make furniture out of that stuff, no wonder it doesn't last!
Me either.
I think tru tone is way better than bonded leather IMO.

It usually means bibles with lined wide margins.
It’s definitely not just for art. I always buy them for note taking only. I don’t color all over the pages etc
Go get yourself one! :)
Me too.
I just ordered the leaf one in large print from Amazon in Tritons.

@DanishKingJamesBibleBelievingChristian *Kiwi* Why? How?
I have spent days, for hours at a time, searching for a ESV journaling bible with RED LETTERS. I can't find one.
Any thoughts?
It does not matter to me what it looks like on the outside.
I suggest using a pink dry - pencil - highlighter and doing your own red lettering by highlighting Christ's words.
@Cierra Evans I switched to the KJV. Although I still like the ESV, KJV is better for study.
@Cierra Evans and your right, they don't exist. I called the company.
I need an bible with an good font 9.0
I wish i had the money for this bible
Believe the money is on the way. ❤
