I want the pre-game editor to be way, way, way more user friendly. I want to be able to build teams, leagues, nations, and such in a more user friendly way. Currently it is terribly cumbersome.
The editor definitely needs work. Especially highlighting the errors instead of just telling you what the error is. Try expanding Canada by an extra 20 levels and having to search for errors.
Couldn't agree with you more. Pre-game editor is a waste of potential right now. Most ppl won't even bother since there aren't any instructions and unless you watch a few guides you ain't doing as much as you could
The pre-game is one of the most user unfriendly experiences I've ever had. I had to create my own playable Faroe Islands league system and it was an extremely painful experience to get stuff as simple as a 4th team working. Then you have an error and instead of telling you what the error is, you just have to guess.
The player conversations are the most unrealistic part of the game in my opinions. There's not a player in the world whose relationship with their manager has soured because their manager praised how well they'd been doing in training. Also, when you choose an option in a team talk - and the actual words that you manager said are something completely different with a totally different implication behind it. So you end up upsetting your team by being overly critical, when actually you were trying to tell them was something along the lines of "Not the best, but they were a tough opponent".
i also want a response to players asking for more PT that is along the lines of "are you better than X player who is starting over you in your position?" (game does quick CA background comparison, if difference is more than 5 or 10 player f**ks off in shame)
I think that's realistic as clubs may have not been scouting this player but once they see another club interested they have a look themselves and decide to try and beat you to signing them
This and the lads who go months without a club, but would rather retire than play for you - realistically, there should be a gradual increase in the scope of clubs they're willing to consider before they give up. Like, I'm sorry, a 23 year old released by Arsenal isn't going to decide he'd rather retire after being available for six months than play for Bromley.
Conversations with players for sure is one thing that needs fixing. Praising a player who's doing amazingly for a few games only for them to be offended and the form plumits. Drives me crazy.
Definitely like the ones suggested in the video. Promises especially. The promise I hate most is "I'll offer you a contract". Note it does not say "you will have a new contract that you will sign" - but that's how the player always treats it. If their agent is intransigent and simply refuses to budge on some crucial issue resulting in a breakdown of talks, then it's YOUR fault for promising them a contract. Mostly playing time - you get some squad player/backup who thinks he's everything, and he wants Star Player minutes. You say no, Squad Player is more reasonable. He says Star Player. You offer Regular Starter. He wants Star Player. By now he's impatient, so he soon gives up, and you've got a doubly-angry player because they took your promise as "an agreed contract" rather than "an offered contract". Very, very irritating. Also, with the women's game coming, international management is much more important. Women players still play far more internationals than men do, as the professional game develops in various countries. So I have some hopes that international management will be improved.
Promises. My big one. Sign a young player. Promise to send him on loan. Instead he quickly becomes a first team regular. End of season he wants a transfer as he didn't get a loan. No pal. You got 30 plus games with us. Happens ALL the time.
- I'd love to have the option to play as director of football and have the opportunity to recruit a head coach, and talk with him and the scouts about who to buy, build the squad together, and have real exchanges within the staff - Have something to do with your money like to improve your stats and a few other things - Have tactics efficiency not only depends on the game engine but also on how the different positions and roles you use go together. For example, a half back with a ball winning defender and a shadow striker shouldn't work no matter the engine, because it makes no sense. The tactis should really influence the game more and not just be a formation with an overpowered way to play the game - MAKE THE GAME HARDER or create several difficulty levels - Have the power dynamics change through time. Like Man City being left out by the UAI, France finally reaching their potential as a championship, Poland rising with time, La Liga performing less and less because Real and Barça were poorly managed, things like that. So that the clubs that dominate football don't remain the same bar a couple of ones after 20 years. I mean, 20 years ago AC Milan was on top of the world, Man Utd too, and now PSG, City or Atletico have gotten much better. - On a similar topic I wish nations' youth ratings would change over time, with countries investing over time like China is trying to become good at football. For example China could get better and better with time, and with their huge population become a big football nation, something like that.
I’ve never ever had that problem on my lower league saves and I have a far less powerful computer than his and I’ve only ever seen it on Kev’s videos. Work The Space and Second Yellow Card do lower league saves and they’ve never had this problem as far as I’m aware.
@@tonyguyan9559 same. I have never ever seen that aliens issue (on my computer and I play a thousand hours each year) but it happens super regularly on Lollujo's vids
Id like when players score a huge goal in the last minutes to actually celebrate it. Instead of just doin a normal celebration and when we win a trophy that players dont just slowly walk of tge pitch and they actually go on to the pitch and be happy. U just fell a bit disconected while u are goin crazy the players dont really care
I’d like to fix this: Me: You’ve been playing well lately. Player: I think I’ve been average. Me: Errr. Ok. Well keep up the good work anyway. Player: This chat is over. I’m very disappointed and I don’t think I’ll be able to let this go. Me: WTAF?
1. Press conferences 2. Player promises 3. Career progression. What i wanna touch on is career progression here since the other 2 are self explanatory. I really like what you point out in the video but i think having you doing other role would be a big no. Lot’s of people have asked and SI always says you are a manager and you cannot be someone else as well, so what im thinking of which is super easy too is that we can add our own history. Like as a background maybe we used to do coach or we used to be player for x club that would be nice for immersion. Because i hate that we need this weird progression that suddenly a random nobody become manager for like bayern or madrid it’s not realistic at all. And like even if you set reputation to world class player it pops a question which is, what player? You have 0 career stats yet you played international football? No immersion here.
My personal major dream for FM is to add more of the Dark Arts. I would love fights to break out, rivalries between players to flare up. If a player who left your team unceremoniously has to play against you? Have them more likely to foul your players and play dirty! Have captains with high aggression get in the face of the opponents, protecting players. I would love if bad blood could be earned and have repercussions.
I'm fairly positive one of the more recent FMs had more of this but only for regens. I think they removed it from real players when they had a dustup over a wife or girlfriend seeing a tweet from in game and absolutely losing it on the poor guy.
I would love to see the youth intake have some love. It would be great to have the ability to build academies around the world, rather than just relying on satellite teams. Similar to how we can construct new stadiums or training grounds, we could build and improve academies, which would incur a maintenance fee. In return, this would enhance our youth intake instead of just waiting for our satellite teams to develop players for us. On the Squad Planner please allow us to filter the players on the shortlists, if you are a little like me and have over 300 players on the short lists you know what I'm talking about. Also it would be nice to be able to use the squad planner for the u23, u19 and B teams.
Hi! I have three things I would change in the game: 1. Make the game harder or at least have a harder mode. Loosing in this game can be very frustrating, but I’ve been playing since Championship Manager 2 and I feel it has become easier in the most recent editions. 2. Unrealistic power teams. England national squad, English teams in European competitions are way better than in reality (last season, only Aston Villa was in the semi-final of a European competition, and the in weakest one). Also, PSG (in my recent save it has won 5 champions league straight... that’s just ridiculous). On the other hand, Real Madrid is way undervalued. 3. Player reputation and Manager reputation is undervalued in peripheral teams. Ex: I’m in Rosenberg (Norway) in my save, have a Champions League final and several presences in the quarter-finals. Even though this is a top performance, my players transfer value is always low and I can’t get a job in another country, even in lower table teams, constantly being passed over by managers with far worse resumes.
If you have been playing since Champ Manager 2 then point 3 has always been the same. League reputation doesn't move in line with the UEFA/FIFA coefficients in the game. Your 5 million valued players in Norway will instantly become worth 20 million if they get transferred to Spain or Italy, it has always been like that. Also it is really difficult to get a job in a foreign country if you don't have that nationality at the start of the game or your manager rep isn't in the top 30 or so in the world.
Toms reply happened to me yesterday. Had a player ask for a new contract, was on £60k a week, wanted £150k. I couldn’t afford that so walked away. I then promised to open negotiations again but he refused to speak. Then comes back 4 days later angry I never offered him a new contract, but I couldn’t as he didn’t want to talk about it. Then get half the team in a meeting angry that I broke the promise 😂🤷🏻♂️ “The Aliens” will be a reference to lollujo calling the glitch when playing in a small stadium 😂
I had that in my arsenal save with Jesus, wanted his contract to go to £300,000 a week up from £120k, I stopped playing him for 2 months and then he dropped the issue, also helped that my team won the PL and he didn't play the final game
On realistic transfers, I want rivalries fees revamp. I understand like Barcelona and Real Madrid not wanting to sell to each other BUT irl we saw Arsenal buy Havertz for basically the same amount that Chelsea did but in fm, you’d have to buy him for 3x the amount! A feature I want implemented into the in game editor is squad roles. I hate when I move a 16 yr old that has a great potential but isnt near that potential so in normal negotiations I’d have him at most a squad player, BUT when moving him over to the club with the editor, it automatically makes him a star player!
I'd like to see more dynamic player personalities. Like players may not be in training due to a media commitment, appearing as a pundit whilst out injured, donating to their own charities...ways they can have unique connections with the supporters. Maybe they can even face scrutiny in the public for negative fan experiences.
'The Aliens' is a phrase that was created by Kev (Lollujo). It isn't something that I have experienced but apparently others have. It's where, during a match playing out, the screen starts to glitch for a few seconds.
with transfers my big hate is i agree a fee with a club and contract with a player for say 60k per week, then another club swoops in about same rep level and he signs with them for like 10k per week. mind boggles me how little it seems contracts hold over players and or how little compared to CPU clubs attractiveness is.
player and team records, we need more detail in this regard: for example a screen in which i can see the top 10 most goals scored in an UCL season by a player, or a team, most consecutive wins in ucl by a player, Total UCL goals by player. etc. I want to see if my strikers can beat Cristiano's records. :D
i once had a player who wanted more game time, then got injured a couple of days after i promised him more game time, 3 months later wants a transfer because i havent played him... Sort it out SI...
I want the ability to see who is home-grown and not in the squad planner for the upcoming season. Especially for Europe. I don’t know why I can’t see how many home-grown players or players do not need to be registered until the end of the transfer window. I want to know at the beginning so I can plan my squad accordingly. What’s the point of a squad planner if it doesn’t show me if my squad is in line with the registration rules for the league I’m in or if the players I want to buy can be registered?
Firstly, love the videos, keep up the good work! Secondly, couldn't agree more with the suggestions. The two things I'd like to see included/removed are: 1. Having an option/button to mass scout all the NXGN nominees when that article is released, rather than having to do it 1 by 1. I don't want to know how much of my life I've spent doing this... 2. Remove the ability to completely ruin any relationship with my players for praising them for good form when they disagree. It's such a ridiculous reaction. 'Hey Jude, (couldn't help it) I think you've been playing really well lately.' 'Hey boss, I don't I have and as a result I think you're a complete moron and now I need to leave the club immediately, right after making the entire squad unhappy because of the inexcusable way you have treated me.'
Would be great if they could implement something that made your salary actually mean something. I know it technically means something because higher wage will effect what clubs will approach you aso... Also the media interaction NEEDS to be improved! For instance: You have a player who's scored 2 goals he's dead tired and you sub him out you WILL 100% of the time be asked if he was angry with you for subbing him out and you're never able to respond "I didn't want to see him die from exhaustion on the field". Or If you criticise the refs you'll have 1 out of 3 events happen: 1. The opponent agrees with you and you'll have the same question "how does it feel that he agrees?" 2. The opponent will say "I don't wanna talk about it" and nothing happens 3. The opponent will disagree and you'll have to answer "how does that make you feel?"
My least favourite is when I don't sub a player who has a bad game (usually a wingback, as I don't often have a bench player in those positions) and the media ask why I didn't sub them. Like who would you have brought on??
@@saoirsedeltufo7436 exactly! Or when you have a really bad game and you sub out the players who play the worst yet you still get that question like "I can't do 11 subs in 1 game"
My biggest gripe with the game is the contracts by far. Players and agents signing contracts which mean very little . Asking for new contracts 6 months into a 5 year contract . Not respecting the release clauses , not being able to offer increase wages without a new contract .
Sponsor negotiations as a way for better finance situation. Would be great if I can find better sponsor soecially when I start in lower league and my club develop
i mentioned this above. i wish you could set a percent to save over some basic cost of living (so at low level you'd not be able to save much but as you got to 10k or 100k a week you'd be able to save way more) and then you could build a savings to in my case i'd like to be able to buy clubs and become director/manager and be in charge of everything the board normally is plus regular manager stuff. but i could see paying for coaching badges on your own early on, or paying to go and "study/apprentice" at a bigger club over the main club break (to boost your stats a small bit). Im sure there's other creative things you could have in the game (maybe buy various levels of car from junker to lambo which i don't know positively/negatively impact your players opinion of you minutely).
The aliens could be a reference to Kev (Lollujo) having regular visual glitches this FM! Tbh I wouldn't mind if they changed very little of this, as long as they fix the promises so they're not painfully broken
When clicking on player search you have the ability to do things like Nationality > Partially > English OR > Nationality > Partially > Welsh But when you're setting up a recruitment focus you can't do the OR bit so you end up having to set up too many recruitment focuses if you have foreign rules in your league I'd like to see that to improve recruitment focuses a bit, feels like they ruined them a bit on the rework
Small teams from small leagues aski way too much for 15 to 17 year old wonderkids, in real life if a team from a semi pro league received a bid for £ 2 million to £ 5 million with a sell on for one of these players, they would accept it as it would transform their entire club. But on FM, if you ask them to name a price, I have seen them ask for over £80 milliion and won't negotiate down for less than £30 million. I know the game is looking at PA and if they are generational base it on that, but that isn't how it works in real life.
I would like to fix few things: 1. Nerfing English teams - one can make team full of 200/200 but here comes Tottenham with squad full of 150CA and dominates the game. Of course there are always tactics that cheeses current version of FM but that's almost cheating. 2. Realistic values, especially in lower leagues. I love to play in weaker nations or smaller clubs (and build them) and every single transfer window problem arises - I could have new Messi in polish club (for example), win Champions League few times in the row but value of player tops at not even half of it when someone like this is transferred to any of top countries (doesn't even have to best teams of it!). 3. Fluent country youth rating. If clubs are investing heavily in youth departments it should influence country youth rating much more than it does now. 4. More flexible positions. It shouldn't be dots but rather areas in the pitch + defensive/offensive attitude.
Scout reports suck. They are a bunch of vague statements who's only use is to tell you about hidden attributes. That there is no reference to the player's attributes there is dumb. It always has been. FM is, at its core, an attribute based game. I am willing to bet most people will check a player's profile if they like the scout report before considering an offer. So why this is not part of the scout report screen I have no clue. Also the number of A rated players who are rated highly because they are cheap is too much. Hey this guy is gonna be the 8th based CB but he only cost 100k and has 1k wages, sign him!
There are waaay too many wonderkids. It used to be really special to develop/find a wonderkid in the game but now it just seems like they're everywhere
Something that triggers me, is that I was playing as Hajduk Split, I won the Champions League 2 times in a row, my striker was Ballon D'or winner 2 times in a row, had 25 years only, and the offers for him were like 50 mil, 60 mil, yet a 28 year old from Nice, winning 1 league was like 120 mil.
On that Seller player you showed .. lul Anderlecht bought him for 61 millions after 4 mediocre senior appearances and then sold him for 30 mil after 19 games in two seasons back to the Netherlands. Wild going in the Benelux
A similar proposal to the career progression element, I would like an option to have the standard FM manager option but also a realistic option. The realistic option would limit your control as a manager depending on the club values and your reputation. If you are of low reputation you would be a head coach with no input into transfers, possibly even not picking formation only player roles and team selection and training. This could have different levels as you progress, transfers, scouting, staff hiring then into finances etc effectively earning the right to control the club from top to bottom instead of having from the start. It may also stop the standard load game and set staff responsibilities as its fun to earn the right to manage aspects of it.
I would make it somehow harder for experienced player, for example being able to see Potential star rating even with its inaccuracies is sth that makes scouting and buying wonderkids very easy, sth that even the best clubs in the world cannot do with such a precision. I would make a hard mode where you cant see certaint values like potential ability star rating. Generally nerf young player scouting, show more vague information about players in obscure leagues etc
Its the same with Personality like there is no way you are able to say someone is a model citizen after 2 weeks of scouting, overall scouting is way too overpowered
I have always wanted to have the game let me "save" some of my salary from each job each year (say you can set a percentage to live on vs save and those could relate to different "lifestyle" labels like Spartan/Normal/Lavish) to ostensibly build up enough of a warchest/cash to where you could buy a club and become owner/manager or just director. Of course you'd also have to have a mechanism to value and buy clubs where some owners are wanting to sell and others who don't can be convinced with a large enough bid. You could also use this "saved money" to do things others suggested like pay for your own coaching badges or to pay for trips to "study" with other/bigger clubs during offseason to boost your manager stats. I just like the idea of managing my way up the club sizes to where i'm at the top making 100k per week or more and then retiring to buy my own lower league club where i get to make all the decisions i used to have to "ask the board" about; like budgets and investing in infrastructure (and i guess you could decided to hire a coach or be the coach yourself which i'd choose).
Great videos. Keep it up. Also, I didn’t realise I was a hard core fan of FM. Bit actually not you’ve told me. I think I might have a FM issue lol. On tweeks to the game. I’ve always wanted more control over finances, Tickets, merchandise (type and price),and stadium look, type of training facilities, type and scope of charity/foundation initiatives Also women’s football would be great. And actually while I think about it. A way to create a club legitimately, instead of editing
agree on all points made in this video. hopefully actually make the squad planner useful, as right now it is just taking space in the menu as it is not usable. but coaching bagdes while unemployed would be great as you mentioned, promises are something you never should make in FM and it really sucks that a player complains that he doesn't get gametime despite being the 5th most capped player.
That clubs have certain philosophies that they actually follow (Ajax educating youth talents, Real Madrid buying 17-20 wonderkids). Also AI squad management and rotation. Selling players before they buy a expensive player especially if that position is already covered.
I know it’s disappearing in the next game but international management could be made so much better. I know not many people use it, but having training schedules for your team, proper rest periods during tournaments, the ability to pick where friendlies are played e.g. not playing an England game at Wembley or playing a Brazil “home” game in Dubai or Madrid. And scouting of players in your squad pool. It’s not easy to see what players are in form and who aren’t when selecting a squad. As I’m typing this international management came up in the video, but still sending it in 😊
worst promises for me are when they go past the end of a players contract (mostly a lower league issue). you promise someone game time, play them the last 20 matches of the season, they're delighted with their playing time but because the promise doesn't resolve until August they refuse to extend their contract and walk out at the end of June. Why it doesn't resolve at the end of the season I have no idea
one thing that i would like to see change is you put out a job advert for a certain staff role and instead of been able to removing people like it would be in real life it just keeps building up and that pisses me off so much prob not a big issue but it is for me
Changes to the tactics screen: - add the option to have a formation when atacjing and one when defending (with ghe freedom to change the players positions in one without affecting the other) - ability to have different team sheets like on Fifa if I want to have a starting 11 and a rotation 11. It takes less time that way when I want to jump into a cup game against a weak opposition and rest my main 11.
ability to have different team sheets like on Fifa if I want to have a starting 11 and a rotation 11. This exists in the game. On the Tactics screen Quick Pick drop down menu, choose Manage and you can save the current lineup
Transfers - I did a build a nation save in Finland without other leagues playable/view only and transfer became too easy, especially free agents as there was a limited number of clubs interested. For example, I managed to sign Martim Neto, released from Benfica, whilst in the Finnish second tier
updating the clubs rep through the season. If im having an incredible season if my rep goes up I can sign better players in the winter.... or even sign better players before the window opens following the end of the season
Dynamic boost in club aspects such as reputation and finances. When you go from the non leagues to the top division some of your aspects of your club get left behind like we would be in the premier league and the reputation is still national with wage budget 10% of all the other clubs. I think when a blub progress way too quickly like 2 or 3 back to back promotion the game should make the progress also exponential instead of linear but again it would make the game too easy maybe there should be some nerfs if a club progress rapidly such players getting poached etc.
Agree! Player interaction and promises is a mess. A player plays a few good matches and they be asking for crazy stuff on the nee contracts. Now all of the sudden half of the team hates you for not agreeing to such terms with the agent. Or whats worse they get mad for not retaking conversation for their contract when they dont wanna talk about it😂
One thing I'd fix is the same with the views but in the Schedule tab, I use a custom view but half the time it will all reset and bunch all the info into one section, but if I click on it it all bounces back to the custom view
AI press conferences would be great as well. It’s always the same questions, but if you have proper AI asking questions it would make this much more interesting. Especially for the journalists who it says don’t like you, they should be able to ask difficult questions and press for answers
Miles actually mentioned this in an interview recently. "There are people out there going, 'Why can't you just get generative AI to do the press conferences, to go through the game and come up with all the questions and then you answer them in whatever way you want to, and then [the in-game journalists and players] are going to react to that?' "That's something that generative AI is not capable of, and anyone who's ever used a chatbot will know that it's not capable of doing that, and would also go so ridiculously off-piste and be impossible to QA. And impossible to get signed off by legal. And impossible to get signed off by licencing. So we're not using it in this way."
Just took over Liverpool in a journeyman save 3 days after I got the Job 16 players saying they wanted to leave but didn't agree with Thier asking price. Why when you negotiate are the fees always higher. After a while all the players just drop the concerns and your morale just goes back up to what it was
Make player interactions ai based same with the media Would make it a lot more dynamic if you add additional comments in your presser and the media then ask a follow up to what you said. Would let you create drama with other managers and give you so much personality and should fix players hating you if you praise them for scoring a goal at 17 for Brazil. Other thing I’d change is letting me create my own managers history. Maybe he’s a young manager who before the age of 20 took over a few Sunday league or non league sides Maybe he’s a former balon dor winning player who won multiple ucls and went down as an all time great. Something like that would be a lot of fun.
They've got to make the big clubs even bigger and powerful and saves with smaller clubs should be harder. For example, managing Brighton and challenging for the title in a season or two is very doable in current game. It shouldn't be that easy.
Wish we could build a new stadium, even if it's less then 20 years since your current one was built. Realistically, a club would sell existing ground/land to help finance a new one. In my save I am currently in a 23,500 capacity stadium that was only built 9 years ago. We have won the Europa League 4 times in those 9 years, along with the Carabao Cup, had two FA Cup finals (beaten both times, unfortunately) and as a result have 70,000 fans on the waiting list for season tickets. Im still constantly selling players to keep my head above water, but i still cant get a bigger stadium to maximise our revenues because of the arbitrary 20 year hidden rule in the game.
I get why the promises aspect annoy people but I devised a little fix. Make EVERY player a fringe player. That way they never moan and you never make them promises.
Those who've tried build a nation saves without editing the database first will understand this: Dynamic youth rating, league reputations and revenues. 20 years into a save, I've won 3 consecutive champions league titles, in total 7 times as Fenerbahçe, some other Turkish clubs have won UEL, made it to UCL semi finals multiple times etc. but the league reputation barely made it to 5th in Europe, we still have less revenue than French clubs, (not even talking about club owner's oil money, actual revenue like matchday income, tv deals). Since the league reputation isn't as high and there's less revenue, other Turkish clubs still can't sign better players and that reputation can't improve. As a result of all that my ballon d'or nominee CDM still wants to leave for "Man UFC" (who've not even won the league or UCL for decades) just because "they play in a better league".
I think they need to fix the way the AI interprets young players, particularly in Spain I signed Endrick from Real Madrid C It did cost £80m but an AI squad builder should have been viewing him as unsellable. I feel like part of it is because the game views RM C and Castilla almost as different from RM and the squad building gets detached
Can they please add a more realistic youth setup with multiple teams and focus on traing/playing style think Ajax and Barça etc. Plus also do a more realistic financial system.
i think a better ai in transfers there was interest in Dalot but said other if main target fails yet i watched them and they did not buy a player or mine and i set a fee and clubs still low balling the value like i done a my save where transfers are reset but get that budget and timber was 100mil no one will pay that realistic fees if players dont play much the value should be lower come jan or the summer
Would love it if the game had a little bit more flair to it. Players with higher aggression and similar mental stats should be in other players faces. Some players should be less agreeable than others, or starting drama, or bounce from team to team or be left out of CPU squads. Players could be fan favorites, or trend on social media, or make comments about each other. Even if it's a bit more than realistic, it would be fun for different aspects of the game to have more personality.
The database re the A-League needs to be fixed. Promising youngsters aren't given CA or PA upgrades ie Jaiden Kucharski not getting an upgrade even between games. Regular starters are often sold due to low CA despite them being regular starters IRL ie Roderick Miranda MVFC's captain always being transfer listed. And positions being entirely wrong ie Ben Folami not having had his position changed from st to both sided winger since his move back to Australia from England
Something I think most FM players don't realize (unless you work with the pre-game editor), is how many teams are actually in the game but unavailable on the default database you start the game with. EG. South Africa has 2 playable leagues and more than 400 clubs in two divisions each split into 7 leagues, that's around fourteen leagues unavailable to you even though the data is in the database with the league structures as well but it is unavailable to play as a non-league option, so every time you do a save in South Africa you only have a choice of 2 out sixteen leagues. This is the same in almost every playable league in the game, most of the game is actually unavailable to default players. I would like all these to be available by default..... PLEASE
one more thing: allow player trade offers with players of the reserve team (not the youth). i usually put all players i want to move into the reserves. dont want them to play on the first team and therefore do not want to deal with them in the main roster.
Infrastucture, i mean just having training and youth facilities is unrealistic, a Club needs so much more, i really liked the aspect of EAs Manager in this way, also designing your own stadium
i would love to manage youth teams and work the way up if you do well can move up like start at U18s then U21s then can move to first team if job is vacant
The communications with players could be improved a lot. Like when I fall out with a player over his training, I put him in the u21's. He then complains about being in the u21's but there is no option to say things like hes staying there until he books up his ideas in training and learns some respect 😁
on one of my saves with man utd i bought 3 cbs in and yet maguire and lindelof did not want to leave and expected squad player games got unhappy not playing much and i already said he not in my plans and refused to go even when an offer was accepted so frustration and the dalot one i accepted it yet he rejected the move i was looking at frimpong halted my transfer buisness
About international management I think the only way to make it interesting between tournaments and international fixtures is to treat the country you train as a club. I mean, you become the ¨president of your federation¨you have to make the league more interesting, get better sponsors and find wayss to develop as a country, biuld better intalations for the nationaal team and the clubs.
My star player left back wants more central defenders in the squad... I had to promise him I will develop teens... I tried two from the academy but they didn't work out. Now, my star player left back, which starts every single game, is angry with me and make some of the other players go against me... it's just stupid. (I left this comment for the "algorythm" :)) I love FM24, been playing since CM days. Can't wait for 25)
Seems like a black and white, you failed the promise. That promise can be finicky, but even you’re admitting it didn’t work out, I’m sure your LB feels the same way
id like transfers to be able to drag out longer, contract negotiations shouldnt just all be in one back and forth, it should be easier to come back to the table and for bigger transfers or transfers with more clubs possibly involved there should be more of a build up. it shouldnt you get a notification that a player on your shortlist has had an offer and then next click they have joined.
Transfers are the main one. It doesn't matter who you manage, unless you self-regulate who you sign, it's impossible to fail. Pick any Prem/Championship team and you can win the Prem and CL within 3 or 4 years easily, in the second more often than not. It's just far too easy to build a squad. Being able to pay in installments is really unrealistic. That only happens when teams want players moved on and have struggled to get of them, or if you overpay. You aren't going to Barca and getting them to give you Yamal on Klarna over 3 years like you can in the game, they'd want it up front. It also needs to be based on the squad planner. You should pick your targets from there in pre-season and you should then only be able to sign players outside the profiles identified there by making a board request, which is then approved or not based on your rep and the club's finances.
@@skottitohotti It is, but there is context to it. If it's a player a team is looking to get rid of, they are more likely to accept installments. They aren't going to if the player is in demand and has a lot of interest. Buying clubs should also be reluctant to back mass spending and a lot of signings, particularly if you are unproven at the club. You should have to agree priorities at the start of the season/window and largely keep to it. I.e need to sign a striker and a LB. Any further signings should then have to be board requests with a good chance of them being turned down, depending on finances and manager reputation.
I feel the team talks at full time just isn’t enough and after you get comprehensively beaten you should be able to give them an absolute roasting in a team meeting and not the ambiguous, encouraging options you get. I remember you could even fine players for poor performances. The individual talks about form and last game do absolutely nothing maybe a threat of a fine will give them a kick up the arse they need. Plus praising players is so bad. Why would you lose your marbles for being praised even if you feel you don’t deserve it. Promises are also flawed and if you fulfil a promise after they get upset, sometimes through no fault of your own, they remain angry. Plus the players getting upset over the clubs finances when you’re actually in the black with a healthy bank balance.
regarding more game time, had a player in one of my saves that asked for that and then got injured 6 months and hated me for not playing him while still injured..... WTF bro
Very very minor but I want an ability to when asking the Director of Football for suggestions, filter on nations/eligibility now I ask him in my Japan save and he keeps bringing up players that are foreign... also I wish there was a way to limit the amount of good regens coming into the game, it feels for any save that if you just play long enough, eventually you'll get a good team just by the sheer amonut of world beating amazing talent.
I want the pre-game editor to be way, way, way more user friendly. I want to be able to build teams, leagues, nations, and such in a more user friendly way. Currently it is terribly cumbersome.
And also the in game editor as well, heck make both of them similar. Make them both worthwhile to use.
@@yvltc lol I couldn’t even download it for whatever reason
Mario Balotelli might have done
Jadon Sancho disagrees with your comment
i apreciate your work at last training!

Players who are free agents for months until you try to sign them then lots of other teams suddenly bid for them
I think that's realistic as clubs may have not been scouting this player but once they see another club interested they have a look themselves and decide to try and beat you to signing them
That happens all the time, especially the bigger clubs, look at Chelsea they don't scout anyone just steal other team's targets 😂
@@taylorjames14 see that's fair, but when it's happening in low reputation leagues too it's annoying
This is normal because if you show your interest, any other club who scouting the player might be known
When you go to a league, click teams, i’d love to see a map of their locations within the country, similar to what you get on Wiki.
Conversations with players for sure is one thing that needs fixing. Praising a player who's doing amazingly for a few games only for them to be offended and the form plumits. Drives me crazy.
I always make a save before doing it, which just defeats the point but it's completely necessary
Yeah, I never got why would someone get angry over being praised. Some players are a little too dramatic or overly skeptical sometimes, lol.
I want ISSUES. May it like IRL altercations with other managers, players, banishing players, fining them. A REAL RIVALRY.
Promises. My big one. Sign a young player. Promise to send him on loan. Instead he quickly becomes a first team regular. End of season he wants a transfer as he didn't get a loan. No pal. You got 30 plus games with us. Happens ALL the time.
That’s why I always remove the loan option and I’ve never experienced that a deal collapsed.
@@iDraiconRemoving most promises from the negotiations usually has no effect on the deal
@@alexei3755It affects how much you can decrease their desired salary and bonuses.
@@michaelh878 Yes, I meant on the stability of the deal itself, as in, it won't fall through from removing a promise
Player interactions is the sole reason why I have the in-game editor enabled In my saves, to fix what just doesn't work
- I'd love to have the option to play as director of football and have the opportunity to recruit a head coach, and talk with him and the scouts about who to buy, build the squad together, and have real exchanges within the staff
- Have something to do with your money like to improve your stats and a few other things
- Have tactics efficiency not only depends on the game engine but also on how the different positions and roles you use go together. For example, a half back with a ball winning defender and a shadow striker shouldn't work no matter the engine, because it makes no sense. The tactis should really influence the game more and not just be a formation with an overpowered way to play the game
- MAKE THE GAME HARDER or create several difficulty levels
- Have the power dynamics change through time.
Oh. The aliens. I assume he means as per Kev's lower league saves.
I’d like to fix this:
Me: You’ve been playing well lately.
Player: I think I’ve been average.
Me: Errr. Ok. Well keep up the good work anyway.
Player: This chat is over. I’m very disappointed and I don’t think I’ll be able to let this go.
Me: WTAF?
1. Press conferences
2. Player promises
I would love if bad blood could be earned and have repercussions.
love this
I'm fairly positive one of the more recent FMs had more of this but only for regens.

That's such a good idea! Especially if it was kinda dynamic, like how Ajax Cape Town is now Cape Town Spurs
Hi! I have three things I would change in the game:
Then get half the team in a meeting angry that I broke the promise 😂🤷🏻♂️
“The Aliens” will be a reference to lollujo calling the glitch when playing in a small stadium 😂
I'd like my cup keeper to automatically be in goal for cup games.
I've broken many promises. He's just soooo angry...
You should be able to manage youth teams underneath AI managers like Klopp, Guardiola etc
player and team records, we need more detail in this regard:
for example a screen in which i can see the top 10 most goals scored in an UCL season by a player, or a team, most consecutive wins in ucl by a player, Total UCL goals by player.
What’s the point of a squad planner if it doesn’t show me if my squad is in line with the registration rules for the league I’m in or if the players I want to buy can be registered?
you can
@@robertswaine2673 How?
You can do this in the squad view by choosing Home Player Status
And now they've announced there will be no international management at all in FM25.
I honestly wish there was a competitor in the market.
Firstly, love the videos, keep up the good work! Secondly, couldn't agree more with the suggestions.
The two things I'd like to see included/removed are:
'Hey Jude, (couldn't help it) I think you've been playing really well lately.'
'Hey boss, I don't I have and as a result I think you're a complete moron and now I need to leave the club immediately, right after making the entire squad unhappy because of the inexcusable way you have treated me.'
Would be great if they could implement something that made your salary actually mean something. I know it technically means something because higher wage will effect what clubs will approach you aso...
Also the media interaction NEEDS to be improved! For instance:
You have a player who's scored 2 goals he's dead tired and you sub him out you WILL 100% of the time be asked if he was angry with you for subbing him out and you're never able to respond "I didn't want to see him die from exhaustion on the field". Or If you criticise the refs you'll have 1 out of 3 events happen:
1. The opponent agrees with you and you'll have the same question "how does it feel that he agrees?"
2. The opponent will say "I don't wanna talk about it" and nothing happens
Welcome to real life pro sports
Sponsor negotiations as a way for better finance situation. Would be great if I can find better sponsor soecially when I start in lower league and my club develop
things to do with the money we get from manager's wages would be cool
i mentioned this above. i wish you could set a percent to save over some basic cost of living (so at low level you'd not be able to save much but as you got to 10k or 100k a week you'd be able to save way more) and then you could build a savings to in my case i'd like to be able to buy clubs and become director/manager and be in charge of everything the board normally is plus regular manager stuff. but i could see paying for coaching badges on your own early on, or paying to go and "study/apprentice" at a bigger club over the main club break (to boost your stats a small bit). Im sure there's other creative things you could have in the game (maybe buy various levels of car from junker to lambo which i don't know positively/negatively impact your players opinion of you minutely).
You should have an imagination, try using that
I think having players showing off by buying expensive cars and losing focus would be fun, challenging characters
The aliens could be a reference to Kev (Lollujo) having regular visual glitches this FM! Tbh I wouldn't mind if they changed very little of this, as long as they fix the promises so they're not painfully broken
When clicking on player search you have the ability to do things like
Nationality > Partially > English
OR > Nationality > Partially > Welsh
But when you're setting up a recruitment focus you can't do the OR bit so you end up having to set up too many recruitment focuses if you have foreign rules in your league
I'd like to see that to improve recruitment focuses a bit, feels like they ruined them a bit on the rework
Side note: what awful business from anderlecht 10:00
Small teams from small leagues aski way too much for 15 to 17 year old wonderkids, in real life if a team from a semi pro league received a bid for £ 2 million to £ 5 million with a sell on for one of these players, they would accept it as it would transform their entire club. But on FM, if you ask them to name a price, I have seen them ask for over £80 milliion and won't negotiate down for less than £30 million. I know the game is looking at PA and if they are generational base it on that, but that isn't how it works in real life.
I would like to fix few things:
Manager never leave the clubs. Especially for teams like City, Madrid, Bayern etc. Also would love to have the attributes out of 100
promises are why i play with the editor on and sometimes remove players' unhappieness
There are waaay too many wonderkids. It used to be really special to develop/find a wonderkid in the game but now it just seems like they're everywhere
Depends how many leagues you have loaded.
@@michaelh878 nah, they're everywhere. Even Scotland is littered with them. It's just too unbelievable
It's also league dependant so someone form nice will naturally be worth more than hadjuk split player
International management - funny, in light of the recent news, with only 5.6% of players doing it 😂
I would make it somehow harder for experienced player, for example being able to see Potential star rating even with its inaccuracies is sth that makes scouting and buying wonderkids very easy, sth that even the best clubs in the world cannot do with such a precision.
I’ve always wanted more control over finances, Tickets, merchandise (type and price),and stadium look, type of training facilities, type and scope of charity/foundation initiatives
Also women’s football would be great.
Why it doesn't resolve at the end of the season I have no idea
one thing that i would like to see change is you put out a job advert for a certain staff role and instead of been able to removing people like it would be in real life it just keeps building up and that pisses me off so much prob not a big issue but it is for me
Changes to the tactics screen:
- add the option to have a formation when atacjing and one when defending (with ghe freedom to change the players positions in one without affecting the other)
- ability to have different team sheets like on Fifa if I want to have a starting 11 and a rotation 11. It takes less time that way when I want to jump into a cup game against a weak opposition and rest my main 11.
ability to have different team sheets like on Fifa if I want to have a starting 11 and a rotation 11.
This exists in the game. On the Tactics screen Quick Pick drop down menu, choose Manage and you can save the current lineup
the aliens were in one of lollujo's saves. there were some weird graphical issues at smaller stadiums and trophy lifts etc.
I hate transfers in fm, tried signing two average players from different clubs and they wanted £100m and £60m, they were sold for £20m combined 😂
Biggest issue for me at times can be the transfer budget. Win the treble, have no debt and get given 12m budget.
AI press conferences would be great as well. It’s always the same questions, but if you have proper AI asking questions it would make this much more interesting. Especially for the journalists who it says don’t like you, they should be able to ask difficult questions and press for answers
Miles actually mentioned this in an interview recently.
"There are people out there going, 'Why can't you just get generative AI to do the press conferences, to go through the game and come up with all the questions and then you answer them in whatever way you want to, and then [the in-game journalists and players] are going to react to that?'
"That's something that generative AI is not capable of, and anyone who's ever used a chatbot will know that it's not capable of doing that, and would also go so ridiculously off-piste and be impossible to QA. And impossible to get signed off by legal. And impossible to get signed off by licencing. So we're not using it in this way."
Player interactions. Period. I didn't play at all this year because I'm so sick of them.
I want an option to start with the in game editor, but then you can remove it. Once removed you cant add it back
Just took over Liverpool in a journeyman save 3 days after I got the Job 16 players saying they wanted to leave but didn't agree with Thier asking price. Why when you negotiate are the fees always higher. After a while all the players just drop the concerns and your morale just goes back up to what it was
Make player interactions ai based same with the media
Would make it a lot more dynamic if you add additional comments in your presser and the media then ask a follow up to what you said.
Would let you create drama with other managers and give you so much personality and should fix players hating you if you praise them for scoring a goal at 17 for Brazil.
Other thing I’d change is letting me create my own managers history.
Maybe he’s a young manager who before the age of 20 took over a few Sunday league or non league sides
Maybe he’s a former balon dor winning player who won multiple ucls and went down as an all time great.
Those who've tried build a nation saves without editing the database first will understand this:
Dynamic youth rating, league reputations and revenues.
I think they need to fix the way the AI interprets young players, particularly in Spain
I signed Endrick from Real Madrid C
It did cost £80m but an AI squad builder should have been viewing him as unsellable.
OMG the tweet of Arthur Ray, the best french FM creator a really nice guy
financial control over ticket prices, new sponserships, merchandise sales, partnerships with other clubs.
Improving the AI transfer logic would be massive. It's the core of the game and would literally improve FM for everyone
That promise can be finicky, but even you’re admitting it didn’t work out, I’m sure your LB feels the same way
id like transfers to be able to drag out longer, contract negotiations shouldnt just all be in one back and forth, it should be easier to come back to the table and for bigger transfers or transfers with more clubs possibly involved there should be more of a build up. it shouldnt you get a notification that a player on your shortlist has had an offer and then next click they have joined.
dope fade, bruv
Squad Building is way too easy but its really common in modern football to pay in installments
@@nigelphilipgabbott if youre financially stable it makes total sense to accept a bid in installments because you can get more Transfer fee overall
WTF bro
how do we get the skin your using and the squad views
It would be nice to be able to have a say on the type of pitch and seats etc more opinions with the types of facilities.
Very very minor but I want an ability to when asking the Director of Football for suggestions, filter on nations/eligibility
now I ask him in my Japan save and he keeps bringing up players that are foreign...
also I wish there was a way to limit the amount of good regens coming into the game, it feels for any save that if you just play long enough, eventually you'll get a good team just by the sheer amonut of world beating amazing talent.
17:05 Its easy to do without a club. Its called spending all those wages you earn
For me, they need to leverage these language models to make it so you can actually have conversations with your players.
Can we get these features as an add-on to FM24 until FM25 comes out somehow? It doesn't need to be as realistic, just has to work.
So many things I could vouch for but if I had to pick one, it would be player interactions for me.
