I picked up some of this Forte Seal Conditioner from BMW Doctor. It didn't seem to work at first and I was worried that I'd take an $11,000 hit from the local BMW dealer, but after I drove the car for a month, the smoking just plain stopped :-) I guess I wasn't driving enough for it to do its thing, but it sure as heck does work after it absorbs into the valve-stem seals. I'm an expert member on his channel and I have saved a small fortune using Dean's direct advice via DMs and watching his channel like a typical compulsive bimmer fiend hahaha THANKS DEAN! David Regan
How many bottles do you need?
@@AdamA63 very rarely do you get a response
I live in the US, I own a 2008 535xi and I must say that you are "Handsdown" the most knowledgeable mechanic I've seen so far, thanks for sharing!!!! KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING!!!!
Thanks a lot mate and I will have a lot more videos regarding your N54 engine mate even if I get N53 it will apply to your engine mate
That's so much "Mate"
I have the exact same car in the US with a JB4 tune and 120k miles on it. My rear main seal is shot. A bit out of my league to replace, so I'm tempted to get something like this seal conditioner...
Hi there are you still selling the forte valve seal please let me know how I can buy it Many Thanks
I'm sure I'm late to the party but I was able to buy my Forte seal conditioner and transmission stop leak for Ebay with no problems you just have to find the right one that's all. By the way thanks for taking time out to help us frustrated BMW owners you always come with something super useful and help keep up the good work.
If you don't mind me picking your brain I have a quick question recently my 09' 750i started to give me problems and a number of lights came on. So my question is this When the
BRAKE,LOW TIRE PRESSURE,ABS,TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTION,PARKING BRAKE,CHECK ENGINE LIGHT,STEERING WHEEL,WHAT WOULD MAKE ALL THESE LIGHTS COME ON AT THE SAME TIME?
Any advice you can share with me about it I would be more than grateful Thanks in Advance
Hi, I'm French and I had two bmw 550i with the v8 n63 that had this problem of oil consumption and blue smoke, thank you, I tested your technique as a last desperate attempt by putting two tubes and it worked, I was shocked at the result. Thank's again
You put it directly into the same place where you add engine oil, correct?
@@jayarre Yes there where you put in your engine oil
@@jayarre just ask an adult for help and show them this video
I have to say I bought this stuff on E-Bay took my valve cover off applied Forte with BG RF-7 directly over the valve springs and let it sit overnight on a 2009 Mini Clubman. The result NO SMOKE. I did have may doubts but it really worked!
Did you just use just one bottle? Had you tried to do it with other products like BAR's or AT-205? Had it been leaking bad. Thanks for your post.
Is it a good idea to use preventively? I have a 545i with 114k miles, no blue smoke yet but have had all the other usual n62 problems, would be surprised if this didnt come up eventually
if applying this directly to the valve seals is it a good idea to apply a lot of product to each seal, and let just the conditioner sit on the seals for a prescribed amount of time, and then drive?
I would try AT-205 RE- SEAL. First. sold here in the US.
Ive used it on several seals and it works.
It make seal playable again and swell them slightly.
Hey. I was thinking the same. Yet sold out everywhere? Are you still able to find it?
Yep. Me like many of U guys have tried every additive possible to avoid the garage removing the head to renew the valve oil seals. This stuff actually worked within one day. I poured it in and ran the engine for 20 minutes. In the morning, NO SMOKE! Can't believe it. But I have just put another one in to be sure! This has cost me just £30.00. My local garage gave me a price of £350.00 ??? It damn well works!!
I hope you are being compensated for each purchase shipped to the US....you deserve to be compensated for your efforts to assist and I certainly appreciate every bit of information that you have been willing to share. Ordering now just in case and also going to search this channel to find your info on garnering access to ISTA.

@@BMWDoctor where can I get a tube of this from? Got a e90 320i and stem seals are needing done but want to try this
Watched this, got off TH-cam and ordered some off ebay. Thanks, Dean! Appreciate your knowledge! Using as a prevention measure.
@@alirastkar9458 well how did it go?
Sounds very good! How many tubes are needed for the N63 with 8.5 L of engine oil? And is it necessary to flush the engine before adding the seal conditioner? (Forté actually says it is...)
I’m planning two tubes
This stuff really works guys! Yes you can use it as preventative with every oil change that's what I've been doing. I change the oil every 3000 miles for my N63 and S63 engines. Let it take its time to work. It's not an overnight fix with smoke so be patient.
How many did you buy? I have a N62 4.8L V8 how many did you buy for yours?
Michael, can I buy several of those tubes of that seal conditioner from you?I need it very much for my Kia optima.
Michael has left the chat *
Hello where did you buy it ?
How many units does it take during initial time you tried to fix the issue ?
Hi mate, quick question . Once i pour this in do i need to change oil again or can i just leave this in ?
Been using Forte for 8 years and people i know are dumbfounded by the simple yet effective results. the fuel conditioners are so good after you replace fuel filter makes the car feel alot more responsive and better. sometimes more fuel mileage but hey lets face it when you got performance back you floor it more often :)
Redline a day keeps the doctor away 🙂
I'm going to give this a try.
I recently bought a second hand opel corsa 1.3l diesel with 289k km on the engine. It smokes blue smoke on startup when cold and also when I press hard on the accelerator pedal. There is no smoke when the engine is warm. Unfortunately the engine was warm when I went to see the car so I could not detect the problem. Hopefully this will work. 🤞
Just to add to my previous note 4 months ago. I have tried this product and it is excellent. No more blue smoke on cold start up or under hard acceleration. This has been tested on a 2008 opel corsa d 1.3l diesel with 290k km.
Thanks you for your help and advise.
@@kirwanjohn101 did you put straight in the engine or did you take off the rocker cover?

Is that an honour these days?
I can't believe I found this video now. I just sold my E46 with the N42 engine, as it was burning a crazy amount of oil. Good to know for next time. Great videos by the way!

@@BMWDoctor Well, I got it because that engine was the only one I was able to insure for a reasonable price at the age of 21. But to be honest it didn't spoild the fun for me, apart from the major fault.
Will this work on my 2007 bmw X5 4.8? It smokes only when in idle
@@DVFYou I have the N42 since new 2002, never missed a beat and is still on it's original NGK plugs and yes a small leak from the brake vaccum pump which is normal on these also replaced the vanos solenoid seals. Car runs perfectly as the day I bought it. Go figure.
@@DVFYoudid it work I have the same car with the same issue and how many tubes were needed?
I used some Liqui Moli stuff and it ruined my engine. Not long after using it I developed a nasty oil leak from the valve cover. The rubber gasket had gone really hard and was letting oil pour out onto the exhaust manifold. I can't prove it was the Liqui Moli stuff obviously but the timing was impeccable. Also, my head gasket went shortly after replacing the valve cover gasket (nothing else was disturbed) so very suspicious of adding anything to an engine other than clean engine oil.
Hi mate,
Just wondering, does the seal conditioner need to be added after an oil change or can it be added to recently changed oil (say less than 1k miles)
Just trying to figure what the difference would be if any at all from adding it to used oil or fresh oil.
Cheers! 👍🏻
Good question but after seems better cause then you know u driving 6k miles smooth

Wow how I wish I knew about this earlier, so many quotes in the several hundreds for replacement stem valves and I bought one bottle for my 318i E46 within 50 miles I seen a difference and now smokeless. Only used half a tube as recommend by forte and it's been absolutely brilliant!
Just I have the smoke oil with the some car. BMW 318,e46. Just I want to know if you’re use this solution and it works for smoking. My problem is sealing steam valve. Can you let me know please? 🙏🙏🙏 thank you so much
Does it work better than liqui moly seal conditioner?
Did this treatment today off the back of this video. Thanks for the info mate 👍 I just hope it is the seals that are the reason for my blue smoke and it cures it.

It reconditions old rubber seals, so once you have an issue your might have to reapply it from time to time. It expands and softens rubber.
Hi, its always a same question here how many 125mm tubes goes to 10 liters of motor oil? so bmw n62 with 8 liters of oil, how many tubes 4 or 8 ?

Yeah for the haters hating on the doc I just bought this Im buying this for my transmission please note it can take up to 2 months for actual results forte says it in they're video here on TH-cam so if your expecting results in like 2 days no these things take time as always s big thanks to Dean I just bought this and I will give it a good chance for results as I'm in the trade also about valve stem seals it also depends on how bad your seals are there will be some unfixable engines this is only an additive a little helper you can add guys try it first
Hi, can you ship it to Australia 🙏please.
Does this help stop the rough idling? Also do you have to drive the car for 100 miles altogether or is gradually driving 100 miles and changes can be noticed?
This is a potential lifesaver for some peeps seals can be ruinous 😭 Thanks for sharing man, subscribed 👍🏻

Hi Dean, great channel, you've been very helpful with my issues on an n52 engined z4 E86 coupe. I think I have a stem seal issue, does black oily spark plugs and a constant light white (maybe very light blue) smoke from exhaust and soot on the tail pipes sound like stem seals? The plugs are 1 Yr and 3k miles old, bosch ones direct from BMW dealer. I used 5w30 Mobil one LL04 oil and bosch filters, again 1yr and 3k ago.
my camry does exact same thing,i had to change the valve stem seals

Hi there,
I'm not sure about your name, but congratulations 🎖 on the great video content! I tried Liqui Moly Oil Saver without success after applying it before my last oil change and driving about 807 miles with it. However, you have been very convincing and inspired me to try again. Now I have to change the oil, and I'll try the oil from the same Liqui Moly brand, but for the seals, I want to try your FORTE Seal Conditioner. Thanks for the info! Also, are you able to send it to Brazil? 🇧🇷
Keep Up the wonderful Job!!! 🎯

Where can I get this in the us?
We have a 2009 BMX X5 481 blowing blue smoke, we're pretty desperate over here as we cannot afford a valve seal replacement. How does Forte differ from products here in the US such as Bar's Leaks and other similar products? I did actually find some Forte here in the US, but it's a lot more expensive. I've no problem paying extra if it really is a better product though.
Doc well done theres a shop called a1 car spares in brierley hill not long opened they got me this product as my e46 2002 reg kicked out so much smoke used this and yes its the dogs nuts works 100 percent thanx doc thats twice uv saved me shedloads of money you really know ur stuff

Hello. I do have question. What happen if You put in to the engine after the oil change? (5000km) Also are You still able to get this product? Thanks for the answer.
How do i contact you to buy it 😅 can i use it as a valve seal problem prevention??
Also, how long can it stay in the oil, 3000 miles?? Until i change the oil again, or does the oil need to be changed sooner with this inside??
I have a 2007 Mini that is using oil and my mechanic recons the most likely cause are the valve stem seals. It has dirtied the catalyzer as well and the check engine light keeps coming on. It's not blowing blue smoke yet. Can I use this product under these circumstances as well? I assume I will need to replace the oil first? Many thanks, Johan

@@BMWDoctor hey, what's going on? I have a 2005 645 I. Coupe, on e in a while I'll smoke, the tranny and rear main seal was replaced..how can I order some of the forte? And how many will I need?

How can I order this product in Fresno CA?
What would you recommend for the American market?
Hiya Dean......I like the sound of these oil conditioners you have been talking about sounds easy and a great product:)!....I would much appreciate some advice from yourself as you seem to know what your talking about and are happy to help!..I have a few questions regarding both my bmw's....
Here we go question 1.....I have a bmw m5 f10 2014 just clicked 70k miles it is my daily. When she is left to idle for a few mins no visible smoke but as soon as you give her a blip on the throttle she emits a puff of blue smoke and then its gone and doesn't do it again.....Will this product solve this problem and do you advise to use it on the m5?......
Qusetion 2......I also have a bmw x5 e70 3.0sd so the early twin turbo..now she has been running a stage 2 remap for the last 4 years or so and has had a hard life....the issue is quite hard to describe but I will do my best. She idles fine and still pulls like a dream however I do have a slight issue on anitial take off sort of between idle and around 1200rpm, it's like she is a bit slow to build boost but when she has she flys.....it is almost feeling like she takes off in the wrong gear is one way of explaining it. Now I have been told turbos so I have replaced both, I was also told all the vacuum lines so they have been replaced all bar 1 that dives down the right hand side of engine as u look from front of car and seems to disappear towards the rear of the car, I don't actually know where it goes?....I have changed the mass air flow meter and the throttle body but problem still there....like I say it is just the initial take off once she is up around the 1200-1500rpm she motor's but just takes a second or 2 to get there.......now hard to believe but if you booted it out of a junction she used to scratt all 4 wheels and take off like a rocket but not now not until that rpm is reached....any ideas as what this is as from what I read it is a common problem I seem to read lots experiencing this but no-one seems to post what solved it...if you could advise I would much appreciate.
Going back to first question if you think this forte stuff will fix I would love to buy some off you if you still offering this product so I will include my e-mail so we can sort payment out cheers for your time I appreciate it......Oliver Watson
