I have the same problem with my audi a3 I changed the heater motor it wasn't the problem. When I put on low heat it works when I put it to the maximum it starts blowing cold air.
@@motivation-eh1kb that sounds more like the core plugged up, low flow through the core will still produce heat but with the fan on high it blows it away and can’t keep up, if you’ve already checked that valve to make sure it’s flowing I would flush the core to see if that does it.
Another issue is the small bag of silica gel that's in the expansion tank after a while it burst open slightly and the gel that comes from it clogs up parts namely the heater matrix, all vw & Audi's have in issue with this culprit , the bag is pretty difficult to get out and is easier & cheaper to buy a new tank at £10-15 onwards,,,
