Julia said she liked Chengdu before, but the food in Chengdu is actually quite spicy. Guangzhou is the most famous food city in China. The taste is light and there are many desserts, which is especially suitable for foreigners. Julia is a vegetarian and the food in Guangzhou Province suits her best. Shunde belongs to Foshan, Guangdong. There are dozens of kinds of noodles in China.

@@VeggiesOnTour I think the auntie want to recommend the best food for you but she didn't know you are veg only. you said you will visit the rural area of China in the future, I highly recommend you print "only eat veg without any meat" in Chinese. you can easily find the printing store on the street (only 1~2 Yuan) or asked the hotel to help you. keep in mind, a few ethnic group live there, as a Chinese we even don't understand what the old people said, that mean google translator doesn't work sometimes. you need bring the paper with you to ensure you order the correct food.

As a Cantonese, we often say, "For food, go to Guangzhou; for chefs, they come from Fengcheng." Fengcheng refers to Shunde. Renowned Cantonese chefs have traditionally come from Shunde, and Cantonese people also enjoy going there for authentic Cantonese cuisine. I'm quite surprised that you know to seek out the flavors of Shunde, though it's a pity you don't eat meat. Shunde is famous for its fish dishes.

Wow! You guys are so cool? How did you know about Shunde? From UNESCO? Or? Hmm... I guess even a lot of Chinese don't know about this place as the gastronomy city in China. Indeed, Shunde food is probably the best. There are more. They are healthy and delicious. In fact, if you go into the details, there are more than meets the eye. For example, there are all kinds of soups they make in Shunde, tonics that are so healthy and nutritious... Cantonese food is already the best and Shunde is a gem among the gems. 😋 😋 😋

Saying that, we aren't completely strict and I've eaten a few odd pieces of meat and fish over the years - but we try to avoid it if we can! Wow the tonics sound incredible!

and the next line might be tricky to say "I dont eat meat" "wo pu che rou" use Google translate to learn the what is Mandarin sounds like. ☺️
    Hope that's help...
I'll figure out see if I can help you more. Keep posted with more video.
or yes learn how to say yes and no on Google translate
Yes sound in Mandarin I think is "tui"
No sound in Mandarin I think it's either "pu tui" or "chuo"
    "chuo" could be mean wrong.
