The infrastructure construction of the Chinese government is mainly not for profit, but for serving the people and bringing convenience to people. When people flow, it can bring added value of economy and revenue.

@@alexpan8138 I've been to Malaysia all over, Singapore, and now UK tbh I don't miss the modern in fact I prefer the old fashion way ☺️ cash is find, no mobile nor laptop that's good. Technology sky building fast train quiet electric car... I don't need all those. I prefer quiet life with my love one somewhere peaceful which I'm at now village away from city. That's why Britain maintain more or less the same and I love that quirks. We don't need every cities village to be bulldozer and that China 1 think need to learn. Modern everywhere is nothing new to me. Yes I love it but not permanent. Eventually ppl will look for perfect quiet place to settled at the end.

It’s a getaway from the concrete jungles. However , we need to go back to big cities after 1 or 2 weeks vacation. You are probably old and retired, one day when I m old, I would wanna retire in quiet town like Dali or beautiful beach in Sanya. Surely even in remote places in China we still have fast internet and online shopping and clean roads which provides us the modern amenities.

I live in San Francisco. in places i’m familiar with, in and around sf and nyc our subway systems look really filthy and most still living in year 97 and reeks of urine plus weed, seen countless homeless made train stations their permanent home. I’m not asking for this airport level subway ecosystems, i’m just asking for clean, comfortable, safe subway without urine smells and big asss rats.

The port of Guangzhou serves as a transportation hub and Guangzhou is one of China's three largest cities in 3000 years.
Guangzhou has a history of over 2,200 years and was a major terminus of the Silk Road.
For a long time it was the only Chinese port accessible to most foreign traders. Guangzhou was captured by the British during the First Opium War(1840-1842) and no longer enjoyed a monopoly after the war.
Guangzhou is at the heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, the most populous built-up metropolitan area in the world.
