, full of FOUR verses, . I used the first verse released in the 45 rpm record, while the second , the third verse only found in the score ( background music ) of the first episodes of season one
( the middle assolo is a mix between the assolo in season-theme from the third to the tenth , and the solo sax appeared in 11th season.) .The original song was first recorded in 1974 by Jim Haas with a group of other session singers for the first two seasons (Jimmy Haas on lead vocals, Ron Hicklin of the Ron Hicklin Singers, Stan Farber, Jerry Whitman, and Gary Garrett on backing vocals, and studio musicians. the "original cast")These versions of the song were used ONLY for the ending credits of Seasons 1 and 2, ( because an updated version of "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley and His Comets was used as the opening theme). The song was re-recorded in 1975 by Jim Haas with different lyrics for both the opening and closing credits for Seasons 3 through 10 ....Pratt & McClain released the song - complete of all verses - as a single in 1976 from their album Pratt & McClain Featuring Happy Days. The complete original song was never released by the original cast.

It's not easy and it's very inconvenient at times, but building up these small communities is the best way to weather this storm that will only get nastier. The Fall of America is going to be like the Fall of Rome on PCP.

I remember the reruns on Nik@Nite. It’s on Paramount+, but it only has the second season.
I'm 55 and I watched Happy Days when it was still originally on the air as well as the daily syndicated reruns.
I was 15 when I watched the original airing of their last episode (Joanie and Chachi get married) in 1984.
I recall as the very last scene freeze framed, faded out, and they rolled the end credits. I sadly thought, "That's it. No more Happy Days." And I knew right then and there that I was going to miss Happy Days. Sure enough, 40 years later, I still do.
Never, ever knew there was an extended version of the Happy Days theme. Learn something new every day.

We only had a few channels on TV back then, but those shows and channels are better than the 200+ channels and shows of today.
I agree! We only had 3 channels, ABC, NBC, and PBS

Not me, a 2000s kid, growing up without cable and watching reruns of old shows growing up, so my nostalgia is that of shows that went off the air decades before my birth XD
