Excellent Parenting!!! What I really surprised was the way mam's conversations in Malayalam even after staying in USA for more than 35years!!! I have seen some of the Mallus who SPEAK English with heavy American accent even after staying less than two years as if they forget Malayalam!!! Hats off to you Mam. Rgds. 🙏🙏
People can easily forget the flow and touch of language if they don't speak it regularly. No need to compare to others. Mathimol may have had several opportunities to keep speaking in Malayalam with her family. It's not the case with everyone. We don't need to go to US for that.Me being in Bangalore, I have the same issue, no circle of Malayalee friends or community for several years. My Malayalam not as fluent now.
