yeah makes sense. those cutscenes add up, and you might get lost the first time through as well.. At least it's not kingdom hearts one where you just never get told where to do *cough cough Deep Jungle Cough*
@@NoName-et8ux You actually do get told for that one, it's just really vague and misleading and requires you to talk to Geppetto which you have no other reason to do
If roxas turn into villain fully he unleased his full potential when it comes to a fight with sora like (justice league where lex inside flash body that was so cool that it take down all of his enemy)
It just hit me why I like the menus in this game. Everything is so snappy. Most game menus these days have some dumb slow transition to it that has to finish before you can do anything.
Anyone know if there's a 100% TAS for Journal and for overall (journal and gummi missions) for this? Also want to see a beginner/non-Lv1 TAS for this game too.
This is an amazing run. I can tell how optimized you made this (a good example is sending Donald and Goofy off to attack one hydra head while you deal with the other two). Out of curiosity, what makes doing Land of Dragons after Olympus faster, considering the normal speedrun route does it first?
Menoshe Olympus before LoD is standard in the current level 1 critical route. 1.) The additional strength from Hero's Crest and the Olympus strength up are more effective in Dragons, since you will be able to hit higher above the damage floor. 2.) Trinity limit is more useful in Dragons. 3.) The main reason that Dragons is done first in Critical any% is for the exp and levels that you get from the summit fight. This is irrelevant in level 1.
What about all the random elements of enemies? Are they all based of of your position/attacks or did you have to make a save state at the beginning (even though they should still be based of your position/attacks)? edit: nevermind. Didn't understand that it was the same instance of the game.
While I'm no expert, I do know that there is an address in the memory that deals with the RNG aspects of the game, and there are certain actions done that progresses that value. The progression is predictable, so the TASer can let certain things occur to progress the RNG to the desired value to make the desired outcome occur. What the TASer does to make this happen, I do not know.
I've done some TASing in this game, and it seems like almost nothing in this game uses RNG. Every action the enemies do is based on what you're doing, where you are, how much health the enemy has, and the enemy's invisible revenge value. I guess that's why RTA runners are able to consistently get good runs once they figure out how the enemies behave.

A Data Org LV1 TAS would be a sight to behold.
The time of this TAS is how long it took me to finish Roxas' tutorial part

Now THIS is some true patience and dedication. Outstanding work, lad.
Calvin Infinity it's tool assisted
wow this TAS guy is really good at a lot of games! good for them :)
And Yen Sid has the balls to say that Sora didn't pass his Mark Of Mastery.
The Xaldin battle had me in tears lmaooo this is a legendary video

I've been playing the hd remix too much... I seriously don't remember the music sounding this choppy

That's right who needs to waste time on the menu when you can do it all within 3 seconds?
TheMistMaster1 told me about this a week ago, this is one of the craziest things i've sen in speedrunning.
Imagine a 100% run of KH2 in TAS 🤔🤔
Anyone else feel like Donald's got it???

everyone watch this fight
it's too lulz
Like the tas that unless your full potential with your friends
i will say that pat of the crazy speed is the fast load times of pcsx2

Menoshe

Amazing Pete fight nice dude
Do you still have the emulator and .p2m2 file? I'd love to run this on my PC if you do. Please add a download link in the video description. 🤩
Amazing tas run

Bruh, this song is not as good as I remembered it...thank god for the remasters in the future versions
Nice amazing. Tas for kh2 nice work XD
3:19:40 How can he have 5 finishers ?
when doing the finisher and pressing triangle (riku ability) you can do another finisher. so as long as riku has MP you can do infinite finishers
Man, I didn't know; about this, that's awesome !
damnit dude good work
10:32 Even in a TAS, we STILL can't beat Setzer. No wonder he's the Struggle champ.
@@VirginieLyon r/woooosh
My only complaint is that during the sections where he was waiting around, he didn't use the command menu to go along with the music!
my complaint is that there seems to be a layer of sound missing
+Laurence Kelley I can hear it too, most likely an emulation error. Not all emulators are perfect.
You must have been spoiled by that Megaman and Bass TAS lol
What happened at 6:09 ??
やっぱ英語音声だわぁ
Man this game forces you to play a bunch of stupid stuff like cogsworth mini game and moving a drawer
you might do kh3 speedrun
If it ever releases.
Amazing saix fight
