The manual should tell you. I've had cars that vary from 3,000 miles/3 months to 7,500 miles/6 months depending on model or how hard it's being used. Your best bet is always to follow the manual.
Louvers are the worst design , I have sent back many filters after looking down and seeing louvers that were either not stamped all the way through or completely blocked.
The ecore nylon core will not "flow" more than a filter with metal core with holes or properly formed louvers. ALL have at least as much total core opening area but in reality, likely much more, than the inner diameter area of the engine block filter mounting stud. That latter is the restrictive portion of the filter and mounting point. That said, ecore cage flow is a frequently repeated common misconception. Other than that, Champ Labs made ACDelco seem to be decent filters for the money.
@@georgiabigfoot Meant "the" latter, that being the inner diameter area of the engine block mounting stud. That as compared to the 'former', ie, louvers, holes or ecore nylon cage openings. Hope that clarifies the point.
Thanks I just got 6 of them for my old 4.3 3 to 5 OCI
Is standard oil change interval like 3,000 miles or 5,000 miles ?
