Got this yesterday, and for the price I’m blown away with it! Looks great on, feels really good on the wrist. The green often goes to black depending on the light. Love it.
Hi, Good Day, You are using this watch from last three years but i am going to get during this week . What do you recommend, it is really a nice and beautiful watch ?
@@IRFAN-po5sz Hi, fantastic watch for the money, looks and feels great on the wrist and the 70hr reserve is excellent. No problems with mine and love the way the bezel goes from green to black depending on the light. Enjoy.
I'm a long time and multiple Seiko owner and I have a hard time paying the $850 or so bucks for an aluminum/metal bezel and inexpensive bracelet. You finally get sapphire which is a big plus.
You need to do you homework long time Seiko Guy the green sumos are under 600 on eBay fyi watches like Oris sell there watches for twice as much ,I've seen and played with Oris there not any better build quality .
This is a big improvement over the old Sumo movement and dial. I want one. Still a bit pricey considering the bracelet why does Seiko not put a milled clasp on the bracelet shame.
@ haha this is a not a cheap Chinese after thought bracelet gezz . Solid end links and the bracelet is hella strong built like a tank . Fyi Rolex used a whole lot worse bracelet on there 8000 subs and datejust just 15 years ago

@@phillippugh2161 I doubt that, every Seiko bracelet I have ever handled or owned that wasn't a GS was poorly machined garbage, I have a hard time believing they stepped up the quality that much for a watch that sells below 1000 usd. The vintage Rolex sub bracelets weren't that bad, as far as stamped out clasps go they were fine, my only gripe is the rattly endlinks but the machining on the clasps and links were fine.
@ haha your kidding about the Rolex 1601 bracelet it's trash I took mine off and never looked back . All my turtle and monster have this bracelet and it works great and comfortable. Why the hell should I care about the stamped clap's that you don't see ever . You Seiko diver complainers kill me you show up on every Seiko diver TH-cam channels with the same old bs bracelet and bezel complaint
No and they still sale out of stock . Get a different watch and keep it moving....just that easy we that love there divers have move on from that you should to ....
They didn't do a good job on the dial like the coral blue. The green is nice but theres no shinning plus still no sapphire. Increased the price way much because of a .15 movement increase. Not impressed sorry.
Can you show this in a 7.25 inch wrist please? It looks like the person that is wearing the watch has a small wrist in this video, that does not do justice to the nice fit of the watch on the wrist of an average male.
I'm really hard pressed to see $800 dollars of value in here. I can name several brands that offer ETA movements, sapphire crystals, ceramic bezels and slightly less generic looking bands for the same price if not a little more. I really had my heart set on this because of the green sunburst dial and bezel but I might have to pass. The spec and finish doesn't appear that nice.
@@WookieChewie13 What I choose is dependant on the watch I like and want. In my experience Seiko movements are nicer, but I'm not spending $800 on a nice movement and a watch that doesn't do it for me. My only gripe with ETA is them holding a monopoly over their movements.

This is on my short list love the green dial. Seikos divers are the best bang for the buck . My opinion nobody makes a better under 1000 diver
It looks almost like Rolex submariner :) but it is affordable of course.. so where is the difference ?

Not really convinced... I think the old „Emerald/Jade“ Sumo (SBDC004 ?) has the more unique and better looking „face“. The new one feels more generic.
Good filming of the watch.. Music for two year olds and putting the watch on a less than six inch wrist, not so good.

It did upgrade to sapphire. I think the sapphire crystal does not come with AR coating.
