How do you install the modern farmhouse casing on the other side of the door around the hinges?
i so baddly wanted to see the rest of the project, paint and finish that guy and let's see how it looks
It looks like your header is proud of the side trim. Does that mean you used a thicker material for the header piece?
Yes, the header is about 3/4" thick and the casing is about 9/16" to 5/8" thick.
Is this pre primed mdf ?
When nailing the side trim, you should hold your nail gun 90 degrees to minimize nail blowout. Otherwise great job.
Isn't that architrave as a casing is a door housing with a build in stop lathe
Mr tfue is better at building doors
WTF is "modern farmhouse"? Nothing about Farmhouse is modern and nothing about that basic and poorly installed trim is modern.Also, learn how to properly cut with a sliding miter saw.
