They are restricted on size (mainly width is often 2.4m - with just a few that are 3m wide - as they need to be towed on the road). A builder would work with you on better accessibility - keeping in mind that the weight is restricted, so everything you add, needs something taken away. Also, if on wheels, you would need to build a ramp up to the entrance if stairs are too much. A MODULAR granny flat (not on wheels) built and delivered to your property without the weight and width restrictions, would maybe work better for you. We have small versions of modulars at the expos - but you can get up to 60sqm. Probably one of the best reasons we run the expo events is so that people can walk in, and get a feel of the space, talk to the builders, and ascertain what suits and what can be done for individual needs.
